🌱 Big step in Joinville: More #CO2 removed from the atmosphere than emitted! Our plant in Joinville, Brazil, recently became one of the first players in the Brazilian automotive filter industry to receive the "Carbon Neutral" certificate from NEO CARBON FOREST STANDARD. Thanks to our #sustainability efforts, we have removed more CO2 from the atmosphere than we have emitted. We have achieved this by accurately calculating our CO2 emissions in Joinville, significantly reducing them and removing them with nature-based measures such as our Hengst-owned forests. We are also continuing to raise awareness of sustainability internally with many campaigns so that our employees can also adapt certain measures to their everyday lives. For us, this is another important milestone in our efforts to reduce our emissions from burning fossil fuels to zero by 2030 and purify our planet through our own actions. #HengstFiltration #purifyingourplanet

🌱 The third edition of our internal Sustainability Award exceeded all our expectations: more ideas than ever before, a very wide range of topics and now eight specific projects being tested. ♻️ This year, the focus was on the circular economy. The ideas submitted relate to both the technical and biological cycles and range from simple improvements to highly complex topics relating to our products or the raw materials we use. 🏆 The award went to a project from our pre-development department in Münster. But it doesn't stop there: eight ideas are now in a mentoring phase, so we are examining the concrete feasibility and economic viability of each one. We are absolutely delighted with the motivation and inventiveness of our colleagues when it comes to #sustainability and hope to be able to put as many ideas as possible into practice. #HengstFiltration #purifyingourplanet

In just over a month, everything in Hanover will revolve around the future of #mobility. And for us, it's "𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞". 🚛 We will be presenting our filtration solutions for commercial vehicles at the IAA TRANSPORTATION in Hanover. These include our electrified cabin air filter Blue.ion, our solutions for alternative fuels and our filter systems for #hydrogen drives and #fuelcells. Be curious, we will take you on a journey!

🚜 In the off-highway sector, we not "only" supply reliable products for the aftermarket, but are also original equipment manufacturer for renowned brands. Here, for example, for DEUTZ AG and Fendt. We supply the 𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 for the Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 6 and Agrotron 7 series as well as for the Fendt Vario 500 and 700 Gen6 series. Thanks to the new high-performance medium, it has a doubled service interval of 1000 operating hours. The Hengst 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜® filter insert E470H01 D28 is used here as the service part. We also supply the 𝐟𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 for the same tractors with the Deutz TCD 4.1 and 6.1 Agri four and six-cylinder in-line engines. In addition to the reliable filtration performance, we have significantly reduced the weight thanks to the increased plastic content. Thanks to our patented 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜® solution, only the E401KP D142 filter element is replaced during servicing - the oil filter housing and valves remain permanently on the engine block.
