🌟Did you know that over 75% of Tin is mined from China, Indonesia, and Myanmar? 🌟 Mining causes environmental degradation like soil erosion, water pollution and habitat destruction. It also consumes extremely high energy to produce. This is not sustainable for the long run, since Tin is also a finite resource if mined. Therefore, an alternative to using mined Tin is to use 100% recycled Tin. Mining emits 23,960KG of CO2 emission per tonne produced, vs only 30kg of CO2 from recycling Tin. This is an 800 times reduction in CO2 emission! A significant Scope 3 carbon emission reduction for our customers using our 100% recycled Tin Welco pastes is being achieved from using recycled Tin in their products. Heraeus Electronics is committed to the drive towards a more sustainable world that we live in. 🌍 Heraeus Electronics currently has a variety of water soluble, and no clean Solder pastes for Fine Pitched SiP applications that comes in 100% recycled. We highly encourage our customers to switch to using 100% recycled Tin for sustainability reasons. 🎉 We had an unforgettable summer festival in July at our site in Germany! Nearly 120 employees and their families spent an exciting afternoon and evening together. A total of 300 people celebrated with us, enjoyed a BBQ and experienced plenty of entertainment at the adventure park - for both young and old, including an escape room and laser tag.   After a delicious dinner, we wrapped up the day with a DJ, great music, and cool drinks. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part! Special thanks go to the organizing team of employees who made the day possible in the first place. 🏅🏃🏻♂️ 🙌 HPMC Olympic Day in preparation for the 2024 summer games 🙌 🏃🏻♀️🏅   We are thrilled to share with you the success of our recent HPMC Olympic Day event! Five enthusiastic teams came together to compete in events such as the bridge-building challenge, bean bag toss, and a diverse Olympic trivia contest. The day was filled with team spirit, collaboration, and friendly competition.   We are delighted to announce that the Red team, led by Karen Herrmann, emerged victorious with an incredible display of teamwork and determination, earning the most points across all events. Congratulations to the Red team and their leader, Karen Herrmann, on this well-deserved triumph!   This event was not only a day of fun and celebration but also a great example of team building and bonding at work.
