A Heartfelt Farewell After nearly 36 years with Hinderer + Mühlich, we bid farewell to our colleague Thomas Löchner as he goes on his well-deserved retirement. Thomas has been instrumental in developing H+M CNC-engraved stamping tools for the graphic industry, and his relentless drive has been one of the keys to our current technical achievements at H+M. His vast experience and innovative spirit have enabled us to produce highly precise embossing tools, continually pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Thomas was not only highly valued by our team but also a respected partner for many of our clients worldwide. We extend our deepest gratitude to Thomas for his tireless dedication, passion, and unwavering curiosity and love for the job. With him, one of our most experienced employees is leaving the company – and yes, we will miss him. But even as we move forward, our commitment to excellence remains strong: Fabian Pfeil and Alexander Müske who have worked closely with Thomas for many years, will step into his role. Over the past two years, they have had the opportunity to very closely collaborate with Thomas and learn from his extensive knowledge. So our customers can continue to profit from our technical and design oriented experience and advice. You can’t replace a Thomas Löchner 1:1 – and you don’t have to. drupa Throwback Thursday - Soap with style This week, we’re excited to feature a project led by our partner Gietz AG for Drupa, where we had the privilege to be part of the team. The project involved unique packaging design for the Swiss soap manufacturer Soeder . The packaging is designed in three distinctive variants without print: -> Positive lettering with fine lines in flat embossing -> An area with negative lettering, flat embossing, and texture -> blind embossing, multilevel embossing and debossing The stamping process was carried out using the Gietz FSA 1060 Foil Commander. We proudly showcased the packaging designs and the matching stamping dies at the booth of the KURZ group, where they attracted a great deal of attention from visitors. This strong interest underscores how the samples align with current packaging industry trends. A big thank you to Gietz AG for inviting us to be part of this fantastic project. We’re already looking forward to the next innovative ideas you’ll bring our way!
