MONTHLY FLASHBACK HMR750 Tension Rod System applied to…. The water sports center CENTRE AQUATIQUE LES-HAUTES-ROCHES reopened in spring 2024, after 18 months of construction. The extensive renovation work is intended to help reduce the pool's energy costs in the long term. In addition to an Olympic-sized swimming pool, there is a wave pool, a water slide, a wellness area with whirlpool, sauna and hammam and water games for children. M16, M30 and M56 tendons were used as vertical cross bracings, diagonal suspensions and for the truss. All tension rod systems were supplied hot-dip galvanised with additional primer and powder coated top coat in RAL7016 (anthracite gray) that correspond to corrosion class C4H (powder coating accomplished by Haslinger Firmengruppe). The threads of the bars are all coated, too, corresponding to hot-dip galvanizing, guaranteeing high corrosion protection and durability of the systems. MONTHLY FLASHBACK HMR750 Tension Rod System applied to…. Ponte del Papa (Pope's Bridge) in Genoa, Italy, is the number 1 bridge in Europe, not least because of its size and aesthetics. When designing, the planners were inspired by the extraordinary dimensions of the Japanese bridge on Port Island. In fact, Ponte del Papa is an arched structure on two floors with a span of 100 m, a width of 25 m and a height of 35 m. M85 and M100 - a total of almost 20 tons - were used for suspending the 2-story tied arch bridge. Interesting fact: originally M90 and M105 diameters were tendered. Due to our high-strength steel HMR750 and its very high design loads we were able to reduce these which saved enormous costs for the constructor. Specially reinforced fatigue turnbuckles and lock covers support the dynamic loads acting on this car bridge. All tension rod systems were provided hot-dip galvanized according to DIN EN ISO 1461 compliant with corrosivity category C3 high. The threads of the bars are all coated, too, corresponding to hot-dip galvanizing, guaranteeing high corrosion protection and durability of the systems. Im Frühjahr 2023 wurde die neue Talstation der 130 Jahre alten Schafbergbahn - als sog. ErlebnisQuartier eröffnet. HMR Jacob durfte für das prestigeträchtige Gebäude am Fuße des Wolfgangsees (Österreich) feuerverzinkte HMR750 Zugstäbe in den Gewindegrößen M20, M30, M36 und M42 liefern.  Neben unseren Zugstäben waren zT auch Kreisscheiben verbaut und unsere galvanisch verzinkten Stabdübel in S355J2+C und S235JRC+C eingesetzt worden.  _________ In spring 2023 the new valley station of the 130 years old Schafbergbahn was inaugurated as ExperienceQuarter. HMR Jacob was pleased to supply hot-dipped galvanized HMR750 Tension Rods in thread sizes M20, M30, M36 and M42 for this prestigious building on the shore of Lake Wolfgangsee (Austria). Apart from our Tension Rods, HMR Connection Discs were used for some cross bracings, as well as our electrogalvanized Dowel Pins in S355J2+C and S235JRC+C.
