Let’s Go. Further. Thriving on curiosity, creativity, and collaboration, we design, develop and sell next generation luggage and travel essentials. As the first DTC luggage brand in Europe, we are still operating "online-first". We seek to build bridges and make connections. Our mission is to enable curious minds to make the most out of their adventures. Envisioning a world where people travel with ease and constantly broaden their horizons, we strongly believe that together, we can shape the future of travel and enable curious minds to get out there and have a positive impact on the world. Our global creative community isn’t based on geography, race, and economic background, but on a shared desire to consciously explore and experience unchartered places. Living in a world of hyper-connectivity, in 2015, we took it upon ourselves to change the way the next generation will travel. In 2016, we launched the world’s first luggage with a removable charging function. An optional GPS tracking followed in 2017, and a Personal Travel Assistant in 2018. In 2019, we launched the world’s first space luggage concept, in collaboration with Astronaut Alyssa Carson. In 2020, we are learning how to survive as a travel company during a global pandemic. In 2021, we are determined to spearhead the world of sustainable travel, as this is our new frontier. As firm believers in the power of creative exchange, our brand partnerships have included collaborations with Beats by Dre, BMW, Soho House, Design Hotels, or Habitas. To truly involve the voices shaping contemporary culture, we joined forces with acclaimed DJ and producer Seth Troxler to design the Pro Model ST DJ case and with renowned sound artist Emeka Ogboh for a limited range inspired by the vibrant West African metropolis of Lagos. We operate out of our headquarters in the heart of Berlin. Our team consists of a diverse group of passionate and highly-skilled minds from all over the world. Join us on our journey!

    We are thrilled about the incredible success of the Andreas Murkudis Charity Market held on Sunday, May 26th. Thanks to Andreas and his team, the support of 82 dedicated volunteers, and the generosity of over 130 amazing brands, we raised a remarkable €119,754. These funds will be equally divided between SOS Humanity and #LeaveNoOneBehind, both with incredibly important missions. SOS Humanity fights for human rights in the Mediterranean Sea, rescuing people from drowning and ensuring they are treated with dignity. #LeaveNoOneBehind is very active in Moria and on the Greek islands, and also supports human rights projects in Afghanistan and Ukraine. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed and showed their support, making the market the success it was.

    Starting the Year Right with Our Team Getaway to Lisbon. With an international team that often works remotely, and February being one of the coldest and greyest months of the year, we were thrilled to once again bring together the entire team for our annual ‘hibernation’ excursion to Lisbon. Renting an office with a breathtaking terrace for the month, we enjoyed stunning views overlooking the city and water, basking in the first warm rays of sunshine of the year while working. We also relished unforgettable moments during our team outings, whether the lunch at the beach that lasted well into the night, or the dinner that ended with lots of singing. Thanks to our friends at @Princesa and @Dahlia for the warm hospitality! Now that we are back and recharged, we are eager to continue this new year with new energy and inspiration.     The Limited Artist Edition with Wura-Natasha Ogunji.  With all proceeds going to a charity helping fleeing women. Acclaimed Nigerian-American artist Wura-Natasha Ogunji created a limited edition of 100 pieces, featuring her artwork, ‘The one where it’s spring’. Inspired by the city of Lagos, her works include drawings as well as performances around the presence of women in public space.  Ogunji's work draws inspiration from the daily interactions in Lagos. She writes: “I am deeply interested in how our creative work as artists embodies the forms and poetics of Lagos: the stops and starts of moving through traffic; the choreography of the market; tropical birds in the city; the changing pink harmattan sky. We make language from all the beautiful contradictions." Her art has received acclaim in major cultural institutions globally. The entire proceeds go to Rolling Safespace (ROSA), a charity selected by Wura and close to our heart, that provides a safe space for women fleeing.     Introducing At First Light – And Our New Creative Director, Paul Kominek Ushering in a new phase of Horizn Studios’ brand evolution, we’re excited to share our new Fall/Winter campaign, At First Light. Spearheaded by our newly appointed creative director, Paul Kominek, his inaugural project centres on notions of new beginnings, with the first light of day epitomising optimism and newfound energy. Captured by two of the fashion world’s most renowned voices, photographer Robbie Lawrence and stylist Ai Kamoshita, it follows two protagonists as they embark on new journeys with their trusted travel companions. “I’m very grateful to embark on this new journey and to help Horizn Studios redefine how we think about travel gear and attire. Joining an inspiring team, I look forward to introducing a new brand direction and appearance,” says Paul, whose revered voice as The Travel Almanac’s founding editor in chief and creative director has inspired brands like ours for over 20 years. Thanks, Paul, for shaping the next chapter with us – we can’t wait to see where it will lead us.
