Hygraph
Entkoppelte Content-Management-Systeme (Headless CMS)
Hygraph (previously GraphCMS) is the first native GraphQL Headless Content Management System (CMS) and now evolved as a Federated Content Platform, enabling teams across the world to unify, structure, enrich and distribute content from anywhere to anywhere. Trusted by over 50,000 teams of all sizes from companies like Telenor, Samsung, Shure, and Unilever, Hygraph was designed for building a hosted GraphQL back-end that provides the tools needed for modern omnichannel content management. Hygraph enables teams to create and publish application content via an intuitive Content Studio, or programmatically consume and deliver content through existing frontends and backends.

🥁 Part 2/5 - Building the Marketing Design System at Hygraph Hey Linkedin! We’re back with the 2nd part of our 5-part series on how we use Hygraph in our daily projects. 💪 If you missed Part 1, where Dino Kukic, our Head of Demand Generation, discusses why we needed a rewrite, you can catch up here: https://lnkd.in/eMMz54YE. In part 2, Pratibha Motwani, Senior Brand Designer at Hygraph, talks about how we built a marketing design system we call Gestalten. Why did we need a design system? 🤔 To speed up how we create and update our website without relying on our design and dev teams all the time. Here's what we covered: ✔ Laying the foundation: we started by setting up core elements like colors, typography, and spacing, making sure our color palette was accessible and easy to use ✔ Building components: next, we created essential components like buttons and form fields - these are the building blocks for all our website pages ✔ Creating blocks: we combined components to make reusable blocks, such as hero sections and feature sections - these blocks help us quickly assemble new pages ✔ Designing pages: finally, we used these blocks to build actual web pages, including dynamic pages that mix and match blocks and templatized pages that follow a set structure ✔ It’s always a work in progress, and we keep improving it based on feedback and new needs 🔜What’s Next? Part 3: We’ll explore how we tackled content modeling with Özgür Uysal (Team Lead Engineering) Part 4: Get an inside look at the frontend implementation, courtesy of Özgür Uysal (Team Lead Engineering) Part 5: How Marketing is using it: Learn dynamic content editing inside our CMS from our marketing folks Jing L., Dino Kukic, Gabriel Zanzotti, Cristina Mitroi, Shahan Syed, Enxhi Hamzallari 👉Read Part 2: Building a Marketing Design System here: https://lnkd.in/eH7Xm7jF We’re curious: what would you have done differently? Traditional CMS systems often create a communication gap between content creators and developers. But it doesn't have to be this way. A headless CMS empowers editors to be independent and creative. By separating the front-end from the back-end, content can be easily managed without constant developer involvement. Harrison Stevens, VP of Marketing, highlights this advantage: “Hygraph has allowed the marketing team to make constant edits and adjustments and launch new pages on our website. After the initial launch of new pages, the engineering team is not involved in the day-to-day work, allowing them to work on more challenging projects outside of just maintaining the website. It ensures that resources are being used in the best way possible, helping the business grow overall.” Read our article to learn more about the facts behind headless CMS: https://lnkd.in/dtffw9DM #headlessCMS #contentmanagement #digitalmarketing #efficiency #collaboration #developers #editors #Hygraph
