The IGEL® Electric company develops, produces and sells medium voltage switchgear systems of a new generation. In this context the two switchgear systems MV-C and MV-CS present the “external frame” for the installed switchgear technique. The IGEL Electric GmbH team has completed a successful commissioning of a low voltage motor soft starter in Southern Italy for a #compressor in the liquid carbon dioxide industry, ensuring efficiency and reliability in the production process. The motor specifications include a power rating of 1900 KW, a current of 385 A, and a voltage of 3300 V. The installed #softstarter, an ISA HD model, is rated at 400 A and 3300 V. With a Starting Current Limit of 340% of motor nominal current (FLA), and 23 second timings, the commissioning marks a significant milestone in optimizing the operational efficiency and reliability of our client’s production facilities. The ISA HD soft starter not only ensures a smooth start but also minimizes electrical and mechanical stresses on the motor and associated equipment. ✨ A big thank you to our dedicated team and partners who made this project a success.
