𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲: The goal is to simplify the initial evaluation of elevators before detailed audits begin. This involves improving the lift pre-inspection process by enhancing how data from semi-structured documents—spanning 300 to 400 pages—is processed. The aim is to increase both the speed and reliability of data handling. 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Lector.ai, in collaboration with TÜV Nord, is tackling this by:  1️⃣ Segmenting documents into smaller "chunks" for easier processing.  2️⃣ Using advanced models to extract relevant parameters efficiently. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲: Vonovia, managing hundreds of documents per building—from elevator maintenance to water supply—needed an efficient solution to streamline their information access process. 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Partnering with Omnifact, they have implemented AI assistants to provide key information for 22 buildings in Germany and Austria. The test phase focuses solely on building information, excluding any tenant or personal data. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀: Initial user acceptance tests show that AI significantly simplifies accessing crucial building information. 📈 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵: Omnifact employs Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to ensure AI responses are accurate and based on a reliable knowledge database. #EcoDataSphere: econvio and Vonovia leverage hyperlocal weather and building data to reduce the energy consumption of central heating systems. ⚡️ As part of Vonovia's ongoing efforts to decarbonize their building stock, they worked with the startup econvio to develop and test a new approach to reduce the energy consumption of central heating systems. 🎯 During the last 3 months, the team selected a representative quarter managed by Vonovia and installed local weather stations. econvio then created digital twins of the buildings and modelled the local microclimate. This hyperlocal data was used to predict the heating demand and improve the control of central heating systems in selected buildings. Want to know more? THIS WAS OUR #DATACHALLENGES DEMO DAY Last week, at the CONF3RENCE 2024, we concluded the HOD challenges latest batch after three months of intense cooperation between startups and corporates. We've also proudly launched our INDUSTRYTANK by BRYCK.COM initiative. Here's a snapshot from two day in which innovation and collaboration took center stage! 📈 THE SHOWCASE OF PROGRESS From pre-inspection of elevators to hyperlocalized energy efficiency management, our challenges covered a wide range of impactful solutions through the use of data and the results achieved so far were presented by the teams: ▪️Renocon: Vonovia's tool to find energy renovation opportunities in buildings now has a working interface created by vreed GmbH. ▪️TalkingTwin: Vonovia and Omnifact are working to improve AI tools that help retrieve information from building documents using natural language, as speech or writing. ▪️Service Finder: Helping customers find the right TÜV NORD GROUP service quickly, nilg.ai has already developed a prototype for intelligent website search and an email response system. ▪️EcoDataSphere: Using hyperlocal weather data to improve energy management in buildings, econvio has installed local weather stations and digital twins have been set up to optimize heating control in a residential area managed by Vonovia. ▪️Lift Pre-Inspection: lector.ai is now developing a two-step approach to efficiently retrieve relevant parameters to streamline data extraction from lengthy technical documents of elevators audited by TÜV NORD GROUP. 🌐 Introducing the INDUSTRYTANK Our latest initiative is set to go beyond data and AI, and transform the industrial sector through cutting-edge collaborations like the ones we've shown.
