During Day 3 of the PESC-RESPIN meeting, panelists explored two key topics: 🌍 Understanding the Interlinkages Between Biodiversity and Climate Change – examining the current state of play. 🔎 The Future of Biodiversity-Climate Interlinkages – opportunities for action and innovation. The discussion brought diverse perspectives, with some focusing on EU and global policies while others highlighted national and local contexts. Two key questions emerged: ❓ How can global measures be effectively implemented at national and local levels? 🌍📍 ❓ How can long-term goals align with short-term policies?🗓️🔜 These remain critical challenges in bridging biodiversity and climate action and, moreover, persistent challenges in the implementation of environmental policies. #ClimateChange #TogetherForNature #NatureConservation #GenerationRestoration #SciencePolicy #SPI #SciencePolicyInterface #Biodiversity #Restoration #Adaptation #Climate
