We offer our customers software solutions and technologies in the field of industrial control and automation technology. In cooperation with many well-known industry and research partners, groundbreaking and innovative developments have been presented time and again since 1987. ISG-kernel is a universal, modular software for the control of robots (RC), of tool, woodworking and beam cutting machines (CNC) as well as of packaging and textile machines (MC). Configuration and parameterization can also be done by the user. ISG-virtuos is an open, cross-company simulation platform with which complete production systems including all components (controls, robots, material flow, etc.) can be checked and optimized in deterministic real time. Consulting and implementation based on "best practice" solutions lead to the efficient use of virtuos by control, machine and plant manufacturers as well as by operators of automation systems. TwinStore forms the digital exchange platform for component and plant suppliers as well as plant operators for comprehensive virtual design, safeguarding and commissioning. Services (technology consulting, application development, system integration, etc.) in the environment of ISG-kernel, ISG-virtuos and control technology applications round off the ISG offering. The high number of different applications and customer loyalty speak for the flexibility and quality of the innovative solutions from ISG. Using ISG-virtuos, we created a #VR experience that allows you to see their machines and complex processes from every angle and up close - even during operation or in this case while the #simulation is running. 🦾 F. Zimmermann was truly amazed by this new dimension of machine interaction and now we’re bringing it to you.     Why a Digital Twin for Marketing Can Become an Engineer's Worst Nightmare 😱 For marketeers, there is a need to impress - highlighting capabilities and showing off the machine or plant visually - down to the tiniest screw - to wow customers.  But those screws, nuts, and bolts leave engineers with a lot of unnecessary CAD data that they first have to hide before they can get to the actual work. They rather need clear structures and must be able to see if the mechanic is present and the components are in the right place. So how to make both parties happy? 🤔 Well, the key is to have a #simulation software that allows you to easily switch modes depending on the different needs. How does it work? 💡 In ISG-virtuos you have the option to choose between different view modes for the different phases of the digital twin or use cases. This means that engineers have the possibility to easily show or hide e.g. #robot axis points or restrict the entire view to only physics blocks. When debugging, for example, it is also quite practical to be able to activate both view modes. Another option is to filter out unnecessary CAD data for the simulation in order to boost performance even further. This way, you ensure that your #digitaltwin is always up to the task! 🚀 🦾

By developing a causal graph that shows cause-and-effect relationships, KausaLAssist combines domain-specific knowledge with #AI insights, helping operators make quick, informed decisions or even automate error management entirely. Our role? 💡 We're providing realistic digital twins as a HiL #simulation for virtual commissioning and real-time error management validation. These digital twins not only train the AI but also run alongside real operations to test and optimize troubleshooting processes. How KausaLAssist integrates with existing systems? 🧩 KausaLAssist can easily be integrated within control systems via the OPC UA Alarms and Conditions interface and is being tested by our research partners in various scnarios in various industrial environments, including highly automated production lines, machines, and autonomous #robot cells. This results in significant downtime and high costs. 💲 But what if there was a smarter way to handle this? Introducing the research project KausaLAssist - it aims to develop a AI-powered assistance system designed to minimize downtime and streamline troubleshooting in complex #production environments.  By developing a causal graph that transparently displays cause-and-effect relationships, KausaLAssist combines domain-specific knowledge with #AI insights to help operating personnel make quick, informed decisions and or even automate the error management altogether.
