Jenoptik colleagues from Human Resources and the Works Council in Germany spoke with WirtschaftsWoche journalist Jannik Deters about the #remuneration system at our locations in Thuringia. They shared insights into our system of pay grades, how we classified employees' work into this collective wage structure and how we deal with new requests. The story follows the newspaper's research into new policies on remuneration transparency and equal pay. Read more in their latest issue. 📢 Semicon alert: A new success story from our UFO Probe® card! ✔️ Elevating PIC Testing: From Lab to Production Line We’re very happy to share that our UFO Probe® card was successfully integrated into #Marvell’s series production line for optical engines, essential components of optical transceivers. As a leader in data infrastructure #semiconductor solutions, Marvell uses our opto-electronic probe card to streamline the testing of Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) in the field, saving valuable time. At the recent #SWTestAsia trade fair in Japan, Andrew Yick presented the correlated measurement results between Marvell's lab and production setups in his presentation, highlighting the high #performance, integration capability and reliability of our innovative plug-and-play test solution. Access the full presentation through SWTest's archive: 🔎 https://lnkd.in/dMxCXJdh The opto-electronic UFO Probe® allows for parallel testing of optical and electrical components, facilitating efficient identification of known-good dies (KGD) early in the #wafer sorting process. This ensures the highest quality standards in PIC mass production. More information? https://lnkd.in/ex83-rvr #MoreLight #innovation

This is how you connect high-tech #photonics with educational cooperation and attracting talents. 😎 Thanks to the work of one of our students, who designed and assembled a set of high-performance optical components, we were happy to hand over that suitcase with the samples to the Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences Jena this week. The F-Theta lenses, beam expanders and optics will be used for exhibitions and instructional purposes of Fachhochschule Jena in future. The project was preceded by the university's lecture series “From Theory to Practice”. One of our employees, engineer Clemens Hinke, informed students about activities and professions in the field of design. Lenses and optical components, which are now also part of the sample case, were used to better illustrate the opto-mechanical design. Jenoptik Executive Board member Dr. Ralf Kuschnereit was enthusiastic about the commitment and results of this project work: “The sample case with the optical components has not only given the student an insight into our high-tech production, but also highlights the strong cooperation between #industry and #science in Jena in a special way. Our common goal is to attract young talent to photonics.” “We are extremely grateful to Jenoptik for developing and donating this excellent sample case with high-precision optical components. The set will support us in the future in both teaching and outreach activities at schools and university fairs. It shows impressively and hands-on what high-tech made in Jena looks like,” said Prof. Dr. Frank Dienerowitz from #EAHJena. We'd like to say thank you to all colleagues and partners involved! 👏 #MoreLight 📷1+3 ©EAH Jena 📷2 ©Jenoptik

THIS is our highlight of the week when it comes to #WomenInManagement and a great environment to present Jenoptik as an attractive employer. Once a year, herCAREER, Europe's leading career and networking platform for women, brings together female graduates, women in specialist and #management positions and female entrepreneurs from Germany and abroad. This year, the two-day expo and networking event in Munich included panel discussions, meet-ups, workshops and training sessions. We were represented at two sessions: 💙 Our CFO Prisca Havranek-Kosicek joined an impressive panel of C-level female executives (1st image) to discuss aspects of change. ✨ It takes courage, #TeamSpirit and confidence to manage change successfully. ✨ They shared best practices and practical advice based on their personal experiences. Moreover, they discussed with the audience how companies, and #FemaleLeaders in particular, can make a difference in proactively shaping Germany's competitiveness. 💙 A panel discussion explored different perspectives on how we can work together to counter populist movements and strengthen democratic values. ✨ The four participants represented the views of political science, politics, media and business – the latter of which was presented by Sabine Klisch, our Director Brand & Communications ( 📷 #2, right). 👏 A big thank you to the other panel speakers and the hosts of the two panel discussions, Uta Anders from Generation CEO e.V. and Annette Gräfin von Wedel from female.vision e.V. as well as the team of Natascha Hoffner who organizes the expo. 📷 #1 & #3 with our CFO (2nd from left) #WomenInOptics #MoreLight
