Automated mobile robots that move in a swarm at up to 10 meters per second and place parcels precisely in the specified locations - this is not science fiction, these are the LoadRunners! Together with Fraunhofer IML, we want to bring these small vehicles to market! In the last weeks we have tested them with DPD Deutschland for their practical suitability. 📦 "This was a major step in the development as we now really have a dynamic real-time assignment of orders and subsequent planning of the route of the LoadRunners in operation. We will now evaluate the data and improve the technology," says Rudi Vanhoutte, project manager for the LoadRunner at KION Mobile Automation within CTO. Fast, agile and AI-controlled, the LoadRunners move through the logistics space - independently of each other, but still coordinate their transport routes among themselves. Did you know that there is a StaplerCup in China?! After more than 4 months of selection across 24 cities, 29 teams gathered in Xiamen last weekend for the National Finals of the LindeCup China. Using Linde MH's electric forklifts, participants showcased their skills in the Individual Race – fast stacking, forklift gymnastics, and the Team Race – five rings relay.🤝 After a fierce competition, Changchun FAW International Logistics Co., Ltd. won the crown!
