🍬🍬 Confectionery production involves the use of many different flavorings and colorings. Recipes must be strictly followed to ensure consistent quality and retain brand loyalty among consumers. LEWA has helped one global #confectionerymanufacturer to significantly improve production of its jelly sweets by replacing its ageing, manually controlled pumps with a new fully automated metering system. 💡 The customized system from LEWA incorporates twelve individual LEWA ecoflow pumps and meets the challenging #spaceconstraints of the existing factory layout. It has not only improved #efficiency and #accuracy by accommodating the wide range of viscosities and flow rates of the different colorings and flavorings, but also reduced energy consumption and waste on the production line. A Swedish chemical plant upgraded its #sulfateproduction process with a smart automated metering solution from LEWA. The new multi-head #LEWAecoflow pump is equipped with #LEWASmartMonitoring. It has given the customer #reliable, #accurate control of the mixing process, improving #safety and final product #quality. In the production of #biomolecules for #pharmaceuticals, a consistent, reproducible quality of the required #buffers must be guaranteed. This requires, among other things, continuous control of the flow rates and the resulting dilution ratios. 💡 LEWA offers #customized inline metering and #dilutionsystems that are designed and built as package units for the respective downstream process. The picture shows a current example that LEWA has built for a Swiss pharmaceutical supplier. Such a system can have five - and sometimes more - process inlets and outlets as well as various other connections, for example for rinsing or waste water. This ensures flexible and continuous liquid transportation. The #LEWAecodos pumps used in the systems are corrosion-resistant, #hygienic and designed for continuous operation.
