We are excited to announce that APM Terminals is now utilizing seven of our MAFI Electric Terminal Tractors (eTTs) with InductEV's high-power wireless charging technology at the Port of New York & New Jersey. This marks the first deployment of such advanced, sustainable technology on the East Coast. We're proud to be part of this innovative step towards greener port operations. 👍 #MAFI #InductEV
For the first time in an East Coast US port, APM Terminals is now powering 7 of their MAFI Transport-Systeme GmbH Electric-Terminal-Tractors (eTTs) with InductEV's high-power wireless charging technology in the Port of New York & New Jersey. "In a terminal industry first on the U.S. East Coast, the installation also includes an InductEV wireless level 3 150 kW fast charging station that allows trucks to recharge simply by parking over a charging pad. The eTTs can operate for 16-20 hours after just two-hours of charge time. The power used to charge the electric terminal tractors is sourced from 100% renewable energy through a power purchase agreement." #wirelesscharging #wirelessEVcharging #cleanports #GreenSupplyChain #whywireless
