The 13th edition of the Main Software 50 Benelux ranking highlighted the success of Dutch and Belgian software companies of the past year 🚀 The ranking demonstrated several key insights: 🔷The top 50 Benelux software companies demonstrated resilience and strong performance, achieving a 32% growth in total revenue in 2023 compared to the previous year. 🔷Many of these companies are increasingly adopting Software as a Service (SaaS) models to align with the rapidly evolving software landscape, optimizing scalability, and enhancing customer value. 🔷 The software industry also saw a modest increase in employment, with a 27% rise in full-time employees (FTEs) this year, compared to 22% last year, reflecting sustained expansion within software companies, driven by demand for digital solutions and the recurring revenue models that enable consistent hiring. And the Main Software 50 Benelux Overall Champions Award No. 1, 2 & 3 goes to… 🥇 Textkernel 🥈 Refinery89 🥉 Inverid - Creators of ReadID Inverid - Creators of ReadID, specializing in Security & Identity software, earned third place in the ranking, highlighting its strength in delivering secure solutions in today’s increasingly digital environment. Refinery89, a leader in digital advertising software, retained its position as the 2nd overall, mirroring its performance from last year. This stability underscores Refinery89’s sustained growth and strong standing in a competitive market. Most notably, Textkernel once again claimed the No. 1 position for the third time. Known for its AI-driven recruitment solutions, Textkernel leverages advanced technology to optimize the matching process between candidates and job vacancies, making it a standout leader in HR tech. And the winner for the Main Software 50 Benelux Highest Growth Award 2024 is… Staxxer! 🏆 Staxxer is a software provider for Techtax and was founded in 2021. The Highest Growth Award is handed over to the company that managed to achieve the highest revenue growth between 2022-2023. Congratulations Staxxer on this milestone achievement! This afternoon we kicked off the 13th edition of the Main Software 50 Benelux award show at the DeFabrique Evenementenlocatie in Utrecht! 🚀 Main compiles the ranking of the 50 most successful software companies in the Benelux region to give them the recognition they deserve. The top 50 companies are selected based on hard data and is verified by the idependent research firm Dialogic. Awards will also be given to the top companies for their outstanding achievements, including the Overall Champion Awards 1, 2, and 3, as well as the Highest Growth Award and the Main Accelerator Award. The winners of these awards will be announced during the award ceremony throughout this afternoon. Before that we delved into the central theme of this year's edition about the use of software and AI to solve HR-related challenges, with a key note presented by and a panel discussion with Sharon Penseel (Digital Shapers),Berry Vetjens (TNO), Roger Muys (Mercuri Urval), and Joep Eijkens (BCS HR Software). Alongside, Davy Van Iersel (ADP) will shine his light on the central theme with a key note on The Digital Transformation of HR: Key Factors in Overcoming HR Challenges.
