    Progress Update on the MaRSCH Project! 🚀 Thanks to the collaboration with INEMET (Institute of Nonferrous Metallurgy and High-Purity Materials) and IEST of TU Bergakademie Freiberg, Andreas Heutz, co-founder of mecorad, is actively involved in our MaRSCH project. Since Autumn 2022, we've been researching metallurgical slag properties using advanced radar technology. Our radar systems, capable of withstanding extreme heat above the furnace, deliver reliable and accurate results. We are making significant progress in our research and expect to gather valuable findings for innovation and research in metallurgy. This project aims to understand slags' behavior better, enhancing efficiency and sustainability in metallurgical practices. Funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research under the "KMU innovativ" program, it is set to pave the way for further automation and thus save CO2 emissions.
