Following Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Spain, and Italy, Belgium is the sixth country where we are implementing our successful marketplace concept.   At the same time, we are significantly expanding our product range: In addition to consumer electronics, we now offer our customers a wide selection of consumer electronics related products for example in the DIY, Smart Gardening, and BBQ categories. +++ Women at #MediaMarktSaturn in the spotlight: Türkiye +++ Today, we are celebrating International Women’s Day. Throughout the week, we introduced you to many great women in our company. All of them stand up for gender equity, break barriers and are wonderful role models – in our company but also in our industry. Today, let us have a look on MediaMarkt Turkey. In 2023, a strong earthquake hit Türkiye. Many people lost their homes, families and loved ones. Kadem KARADOĞAN was among the survivors of the terrible nights. And she rose from it: Together with her team, they started over. Kadem is a great example of many Turkish women, who stood up for their community when fate struck. For International Women’s Day, our colleagues from Türkiye are donating 6.000 Euros to the Foundation for the Support of Women's Work (KEDV). They want to foster women's efforts to improve their lives and to strengthen their leadership in local development, with the aim of contributing to building a strong society in which poverty and inequality do not exist.
