MQV doctoral fellow Tim Harris is a Ph.D. student at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where he researches theoretical models that describe materials with exciting and unusual properties. Based on his theoretical studies, he develops proposals on how these models can be implemented in quantum simulator experiments like those run by experimentalists at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics. Read more about Tim's journey from Bundaberg to Munich and his research at the intersection of theory and experiment in our latest #MQVinPersona portrait.
