Graph-Based Visual Search Engine Calls for an Evaluation Participation Calling all earth scientists, ecologists and data managers. For the NFDI4Earth Pilot 2 @nfdi4earth project, the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Institute of Software Technologies @DLR_de, has developed the Graph-Based Visual Search Engine. This tool combines visualization dashboarding and knowledge graph technology to improve the findability of scientific datasets in data repositories. Spannende Neuigkeiten aus dem NFDI4Earth-Projekt "Data in Long-Term Storage"! Die Ergebnisse der Umfrage zum aktuellen Stand der Langzeitarchivierung und -aufbewahrung digitaler Daten in den Erdsystemwissenschaften (ESS) in Deutschland wurden jetzt veröffentlicht 🌍📊. Die Umfrage, die im März/April 2023 durchgeführt wurde, bietet einen umfassenden Überblick über die aktuellen Praktiken zur Langzeitarchivierung in den ESS. Die erhobenen Daten und die daraus gewonnenen Erkenntnisse fließen direkt in die Entwicklung neuer Richtlinien für die Langzeitarchivierung von ESS-Daten im Rahmen des NFDI4Earth-Projekts ein. Ziel ist es, die langfristige Verfügbarkeit und Nutzbarkeit wertvoller wissenschaftlicher Daten sicherzustellen und die Forschung in den Erdsystemwissenschaften weiter voranzutreiben. Last week, the NFDI4Microbiota Helpdesk joined forces with NFDI4Health, NFDI4Biodiversity, NFDI4Chem, NFDI4Earth, NFDI4BIOIMAGE, @NFDI4plants, and FairAgro in Bremen.
