𝗪𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻! Last week, our Northwest Healthcare Properties - Europe team volunteered at Berliner Tafel e.V., sorting vegetables, fruits, bread, and hygiene products to help prepare them for community distribution. Brews, Grill, and Big Wins: Northwest Summer Party 2024! ☀️ We celebrated our summer party at BrewDog Brauerei, a local brewery, soaking in the summer vibes with great company. Our first stop? A fun and informative beer tasting, where we explored a range of unique brews—definitely some new favorites discovered! 🍺 The brewer’s tour was very informative, giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the art of brewing and a sense for the artwork of brewing beer. It was fascinating to see the passion and craft that goes into every pint. Of course, we couldn’t have a party without recognizing our incredible team members. 🏆 Our firm awards celebrated the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our people. 🌿 Supporting Local Green Spaces at Hampstead Heath! 🌿 Our UK team recently had the privilege of volunteering with Heath Hands to help conserve and enhance the beautiful green spaces of Hampstead Heath in North London. As a team, we: 🌼 Cleared out and prepared the ground for a new Wildflower Meadow, contributing to the biodiversity of this iconic space. ✂️ Maintained the heath's green spaces by trimming and clearing fences from overgrown greenery, ensuring these areas remain welcoming and accessible. 🐍 Created heaps from grass cuttings to provide homes for the grass snakes living at Hampstead Heath, helping to preserve the wildlife in this natural haven. At Northwest we believe in the importance of community and environmental responsibility. This volunteering day aligns perfectly with our values, reflecting our commitment to enhancing the well-being of the communities we serve and ensuring that future generations can enjoy these vital green spaces. It was a rewarding experience to contribute to the preservation and enhancement of one of London's most cherished green spaces. 🌟 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐬 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 🌟 On July 27, three of our Northwest employees from the Berlin office participated in this year's City Night Run in Berlin. Despite the pouring rain, they brought their full power to the course and didn't let it spoil the mood. The Berlin Runners Night by adidas is probably Berlin´s fastest night! You can choose between a 5 or 10 km run or find your high-speed bliss on the 10 km inline track. Susanne Kaiser and Susanne K. Engelhardt dared to try the 10km run: “We've already taken part in many running events, but running through the streets of the bustling city at night creates a truly special atmosphere.” Delaram Adib Chemachai received her medal after successfully finishing the 5km run. 🏃♀️ The cheers and chants of the crowds as well as the beats of the drummers and DJs along the course really carried everyone across the finish line. Fantastic performances! 🎉

With an exceptional ability to recall intricate case and contract details from years past, she ensures Northwest's operations comply fully with applicable laws and regulations. This precision has proven invaluable in advising colleagues across our Berlin, Luxembourg, UK, and Netherlands offices on complex pan-European matters. Christiane also lends her expertise to our Women's Initiative for Representation and Equality (WIRE). Through WIRE, she advocates for equity, equality and advancing women leaders—efforts that cultivate a more inclusive workplace where all individuals can achieve their full potential. Christiane's versatility allows her to excel beyond legal responsibilities. When not resolving issues, she delves into the realms of French literature and cinema, immersing herself in diverse cultures. Impact - it's a word we hear often, but what does it truly mean? For us, impact means creating change through our actions.   On July 10th, we witnessed the essence of our impact firsthand—through the laughter of children, ketchup-stained smiles, and hands clutching cotton candy.   We had the immense pleasure of partnering with Die ARCHE Kinderstiftung to host their annual children's summer festival. Alongside a financial donation, we dedicated our time and effort to ensure the event was a resounding success. We watched as a rainy schoolyard transformed into a sunny children's paradise, all thanks to our teamwork and dedication. The festival was filled with delights for the children: a bouncy castle, face painting, a wheel of fortune, bubbles, and, of course, plenty of delicious food.   This experience reminded us Northwestees of the true meaning of impact: bringing joy to others, making lasting memories, and fostering sustainable improvements in our community.
