Our own ODM Christmas huts - 🌟 a highlight for the 2024 Christmas markets! 🌟 This year we are breaking new ground: For the very first time, customised ODM Christmas huts will be used at various markets throughout Germany! 🙌🏼 A total of 30 wooden huts will make the special O'Donnell Christmas experience even more intense on site and present our brand in a unique way. With three different size models and impressive foil wrapping - which we apply ourselves in regional co-operation with the Kabus company from Spandau - we want to captivate visitors with these individual designs and offer them a special shopping experience. Where we are unable to source regional huts, we will have our own huts, which will be a very special highlight for the first time: not only have we stuck stickers on them as a team, but we are also creating a recognition value that we otherwise only have at our events. O’Donnell Moonshine was founded by August Ullrich and Philip Morsink in 2014 and has been producing unique spirits and liqueurs ever since. It was during a road trip through the USA that they came across the fascinating story of Moonshine. Instantly gripped by its history, they decided to revive this infamous beverage and nowadays O’Donnell Moonshine is known on the European market for unique spirits and liqueurs. Our Moonshine is made using traditional distilling methods and we take particular pride in using only the best ingredients, with no artificial colourings or preservatives. But most importantly: Our Moonshine is incredibly delicious! With our headquarters in Germany and growing teams in the UK, the Netherlands and Austria the company has over 100 employees and is continuously growing. At O’Donnell Moonshine we combine a variety of distribution channels to sell our liqueurs in new and unconventional ways. Instead of being available in big supermarket chains, our focus lies on our own online shop, markets and christmas markets and small shops such as farm shops around the country. This is based on the company’s underlying concept: to provide our customers with a delicious and unique experience and to build a community around the product that focuses on close contact with the brand. Based on the various directions O’Donnell Moonshine is focusing on, there is a great potential for development within the company for the employees. The business built all relevant departments internally and tries to avoid outsourcing as much as possible. Exciting News: Start of a new chapter After an incredible journey of 10 years, filled with milestones, growth, and invaluable experiences, I am excited to share some news about my departure from O'Donnell Moonshine, the company I founded. Last year, we celebrated a remarkable achievement, surpassing $30 million in sales and reaching new heights of profitability. Reflecting on this milestone, I've realized that it's time for fresh perspectives and new impulses to drive the company forward into its next chapter of success. With that said, I am thrilled to announce that effective immediately, Philip Morsink, my esteemed colleague, best friend and co-founder, will be stepping into the role of CEO. With his exceptional leadership skills and unwavering dedication to our vision, I have every confidence that he will continue to lead O'Donnell Moonshine to even greater heights. While I may be stepping back from day-to-day operations, I am not saying goodbye to O'Donnell Moonshine entirely. Instead, I will remain closely connected through a newly formed advisory board, where I will continue to offer guidance and support as needed. What started as a humble venture has blossomed into something beyond my wildest dreams - a 5000sqm IFS-Food certified production and logistics facility, organizations in 4 countries, 2 offices and 13 brick-and-mortar stores. Another highlight - as of December 2023, we proudly employed 900 incredible individuals, spreading the joy of our moonshine at Christmas markets, stores, and from our bustling offices and production floors. What's more, we've stayed true to our roots by remaining consistently profitable - a testament to our commitment to quality and innovation. Our success isn't just about business growth; it's about disrupting the liquor industry with authenticity and passion.
