We just completed the final review of the OneNet Project . Informal feedback from the PO was very positive. As consortium we are very proud of what we achieved. We delivered an harmonised approach to energy markets in Europe. We designed, developed and implemented an IT architecture to support the integration of the European electrical infrastructure. We created fair conditions for consumer integration. Everything has been tested in demo sites of relevant scale. We expect the OneNet solutions to have a long term impact as shown by the launching of a project in the LF Energy. The #onenetconnector is here to stay and support #dataspaces in energy. OneNet brings Europe closer to flexible networks Today in Brussels, the OneNet consortium brings to a close the project that for the last three years has created both scalable TSO/DSO flexibility market models and reusable ICT architectures for Europe. OneNet now spurs development in multiple countries and continues connecting new flexibility with network needs. OneNet connected 72 partners across 23 countries and enables flexibility to be taken up and managed efficiently by TSOs and DSOs across Europe and lowers the barrier of entry for flexibility providers, increasing the capabilities to facilitate more renewable energy sources in DSO and TSO networks. Volue was responsible for leading the successful Northern demonstrator, demonstrating a portfolio of different flexibility products with markets in four countries including TSO/DSO pairs in all of them. The demonstrated markets showed beyond doubt that sharing flexibility information through a common flexibility register and enabling TSOs and DSOs to coordinate their flexibility needs will lead to a more flexible and renewable enabling network environment.
