Der CHEManager Innovation Pitch, die Start-up-Förderinitiative von CHEManager und CHEManager International, hat seit ihrem Launch 2019 mehr als 100 Start-ups aus über 15 Ländern die Möglichkeit geboten, ihre innovativen Ideen, Produkte und Technologien einer breiten Zielgruppe zu präsentieren. Diesen Meilenstein nehmen wir zum Anlass, um auf einige der #Gründerstories der vergangenen sechs Jahre zu blicken und deren Entwicklung aufzuzeigen. Den Anfang macht #Packwise. Das Dresdener Start-up will den Einsatz von #Industrieverpackungen revolutionieren. Im Mittelpunkt stehen dabei Intermediate Bulk Container (IBCs). In den 1.000 L fassenden Gebinden werden flüssige Produkte der Chemie- und Lebensmittelbranche transportiert. (...) 2017 wurde Packwise gegründet, zwei Jahre später wurde die Smart Cap auf den Markt gebracht, heute begeistern sich bereits mehr als 40 Kunden für die Industrial-IoT-Lösung, die Daten zu Füllstand, Temperatur, Standort und Bewegung der IBCs erfassen und übermitteln. Nun erfolgt der Eintritt in den chancenreichen Markt für mobiles Container-Tracking in Nordamerika mit einer eigenen Niederlassung in Houston, Texas. Mitgründer Felix Weger zeichnet diese rasante Entwicklung nach und erläutert die nächsten Schritte. CHEManager: Herr Weger, Packwise hat sich seit der Vorstellung im CHEManager gut entwickelt, welches waren bislang die Meilensteine und welche Erfolge gab es zu feiern? Felix Weger: Als Packwise im März 2019 vorgestellt wurde, befanden wir uns noch in der Prototypenphase. Seitdem haben wir eine bemerkenswerte Entwicklung durchlaufen und uns als führender Anbieter im Bereich des digitalen Container- und Tankmanagements etabliert. Ein wesentlicher Meilenstein war 2021 der Start der Serienfertigung der Smart Cap, unserer zentralen Technologie zur Digitalisierung von IBCs, stationären Tanks und ISO-Containern. 2023 konnten wir mit der Einführung der Smart Cap Ex einen weiteren entscheidenden Erfolg feiern. Diese neue Version ist speziell für den Einsatz in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen entwickelt worden – ein essenzieller Schritt, um unsere Lösung für viele Branchen nutzbar zu machen.
