Today, we would like to introduce you to two interns from France who have decided to spend the next few weeks gaining practical insights into our company and actively participating in the work at the plant. 🤝🏻🔧   We are delighted that we can establish an intercultural exchange with France, both through our French parent company Hutchinson and at the Speyer training level. This collaboration enables both sides to gain valuable experience and learn from each other. Our French interns, Estelle Anakaba and Robin Jouet, have briefly summarized their impressions:   Estelle Anakaba “I’m an apprentice industrial engineer, my school is CESI Graduate school of Engineering and located in the North of France in Arras. And the company where I do my apprenticeship is also in the North of France in Roubaix, it´s called Hutchinson. As all engineering students, we have to realize an international mobility for an internship. I´ve decided to do my internship in Germany in the same company as in France. It’s been a week since I arrived and honestly the people here are very nice, and they are here to help you to achieve your projects. For my part, I have projects related to maintenance and production, named TPM (Total Productive Maintenance). PFW aerospace is an interesting company if you are interest by industrial and aviation field. And if I had the opportunity to come back and work here, I wouldn’t hesitate.”   Robin Jouet “Dear all, I am a French student and I´m following an engineering program about Continuous Improvement and Industrial Performance. To complete my cursus, I perform an abroad internship at Hutchinson PFW Aerospace in Speyer, Germany. I have joined the HES team (Hutchinson Excellence System) and my project was focused on the production flow of a frequently used mounting bracket of welded duct assemblies. My targets are to analyze the current situation of this production by creating a Value Stream Mapping (deep station-by-station analysis of root causes) and make proposals for process optimization. This is an excellent first experience on a German plant, in a beautiful region and with a team that integrated me perfectly to carry out my missions. Unlocking the potential of our employees through knowledge 📚     Continuous development is a common goal across our teams. A good example of how we practice this daily is the expansion of the Training Academy in Turkey, which has quadrupled its capacity. Successful together since 50 years - A special moment of gratitude and cooperation! 🤝🎉   At Hutchinson PFW Aerospace GmbH, we are proud to celebrate 50 years of partnership and the completion of a successful project with our partner Airbus during a recent ceremony. The event serves as a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to this milestone and thus also to our long-standing cooperation.   Since the 1960s, the inseparable partnership has existed, in which PFW was both a part of AIRBUS' predecessor companies (such as VFW, MBB) and part of AIRBUS itself. For decades, PFW has been a reliable partner for AIRBUS in all of Airbus' commercial aircraft programs, including the military A400M and now also the latest member of the family, the A220. Today, PFW provides its expertise to AIRBUS Aircraft production not only with parts and products, but also acts as an integral partner during design and development of Aircraft programs such as A400M, A350 and A220. This long-standing collaboration has contributed to this successful project and shows the strength of our relationship.   Together with Airbus, we at PFW are proud of this collaborative partnership and especially of our employees who make it possible.
