PHOTONICPARTS has been founded as a brand of XCCES GmbH by Dr. Jan Dolkemeyer and Phillip Dittmann in August 2023. The company works in the field of joining and assembly technologies and production of laser components mainly for the photonic market. Beside laser technology itself, the core know-how of PHOTONICPARTS lies in the production of homogeneous large-area solder joints for any materials or material pairings. The focus is usually on the customer's requirement for a thermally stable and robust solder joint with the lowest thermal and electrical resistance between two or more joining partners. We are proud to present a very special crystal package which we have built on customer request. The package contains a really huge 40 x 25 x 1 mm³ Yb:YAG crystal for high power ultra short pulse laser amplification. 🚀 ✨ 💎 The challenge was to design and build a package which ensures a very homogeneous joint in the soldering interphase, is robust against thermomechanical stress, and is capable of high heat dissipation. We decided to build a CTE-matched stack to adapt the thermal expansion of Yb-doped YAG to the heatsink material. The outer heatsink is equipped with integrated water cooling channels to ensure homogeneous flow. This project shows pretty well that we are able to fully customize our solution to your need and deliver durable optical core components with reliable quality. #laseramplifier #innovation #science #lasertechnology #soldering #photonics

Today we would like to present a product where we can make full use of our expertise in the field of flux-free soldering. It is a fully soldered NLO package consisting of a tempered LBO crystal and an integrated heating element that is also soldered completely flux-free. The frequency conversion chamber was mounted on our highly robust flexure mirror holder, which allows high-precision angular adjustment.
