We can look back to some exciting and successful fairs this year already like the World Defense Show in Riad, the DSA Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur the Hemus in Bulgaria and some German fairs like the Multi Domain Operations or the AFCEA which both took place in Bonn. But we were especially proud about our own event PLATH Intelligence Day which broke another visitor record and again took place as a prelude to the AOC Europe which was hosted in Oslo this year. The short clip here shows a short roundtrip of our booth which featured a life-size model of a COMINT drone, our mobile COMINT Solution NEMO and our new cross-system solution SDI Core which uses artificial intelligence to improve the performance of the connected systems – like NEMO or the drone. In a world of increasingly complex crisis scenarios, reconnaissance requires one thing above all: reliable, scalable applications that generate the right situational picture in every situation. That´s why we have worked on a cross-system solutions that use a central, scalable AI unit which uses artificial intelligence to improve the performance of the connected systems, reduce the operator's workload and accelerate the OODA loop. Such a system can, for example, include our high-performance, compact COMINT system NEMO, which can be used land-based, naval, airborne or in shelters. We named this system SDI Core and presented it at selected fairs in the last weeks. We always showed it together with this video which explains a use case of how the SDI Core can lead to improved reconnaissance results in ground-to air cross-domain operations with a UAV. On the other side of the world, the world's largest naval exercise, RIMPAC 2024, is currently taking place near Hawaii. PLATH solutions will also be deployed during the five-week multinational maneuver. On the German side, the frigate “Baden-Württemberg” and the task force provider “Frankfurt am Main” of the German Navy are taking part in the biennial maneuver, which is hosted by the US Navy. This is the first time that two German warships have taken part in this major maneuver. The areas of operation this year are the sea areas around the Hawaiian Islands and the islands themselves. The exercise began at the end of June and will last until August 1. In the initial port phase, which took place first, the crews of the 29 participating nations coordinated intensively and used the time for logistical preparations. Individual exercises on land took place during this time, as well as training for explosives experts and explosive ordnance disposal specialists, for example. On July 9, the majority of the 40 naval vessels involved departed from the US naval base at Pearl Harbor, marking the start of the almost four-week sea phase of the manoeuvre, during which our antennas, sensors and solutions will also be deployed. #rimpac #intelligence

At the end of June, the publication "Future of Defense" appeared at the AFCEA trade fair, which was included in part of the printed FAZ edition. In it, we were able to talk about the technologies we are currently working on for data-driven crisis prevention. Our expert Sven Lüttich also had his say, explaining what software can contribute to the early detection of crises and what influence AI has on the important topic of software-defined defense.
