In the limelight: July adds four new products to our portfolio 2024 marks a year of major upgrades to our product portfolio. July was no exception. It brought novelties to not only one, but two model ranges. Besides the new #Porsche Panamera GTS and Turbo S E-Hybrid, the automotive world welcomes the new Macan and Macan 4S. Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. (PCL) is pleased to announce the opening of five #Porsche NOW locations in the metropolitan areas of Montreal, Ottawa, and Vancouver. The brand pop-ups will be the first of their kind to premiere an electric mobility focus, heralding the arrival of new electrified Porsche models in Canada such as the Macan Electric and the 2025 Taycan. Men are busy working while women take care of the kids. 👀 As a child, Asako Sudo, CPA, CGMA, Chief Financial Officer Porsche Japan, thought this was perfectly normal before her family moved to Germany. The aim of continuously improving driving dynamics is at the forefront of all innovations. The new #Porsche 911 takes up this principle with a series of measures that improve its aerodynamic properties and accommodate the additional cooling requirements of the fundamentally revamped drive systems. At the same time, Porsche has succeeded in making its look even more distinctive. Specific features at the front and rear emphasise the width and stature of the sports car. Welcome to Zell am See, Austria! Schloss Prielau’s first mention dates back to 1425. The castle was given its current design in the 16th century. It then changed hands many times. In 1932, Gerty von Hofmannsthal, widow of the famous Austrian writer and playwright Hugo von Hofmannsthal, bought the castle and restored it. The #Porsche family eventually purchased the estate in Pinzgau in 1987 and turned the castle into a hotel. Nearby is the Porsche family’s home track: the Großglockner High Alpine Road. This is the house in which Ferdinand #Porsche was born in 1875, in Vratislavice nad Nisou. His father Anton once ran a forge here; these days, it’s a museum. Examples of historical engineering expertise can be explored here at Tanvaldská 38 Friday through Sunday. They document how far the design engineer was ahead of his time. In 1902, for example, he visited his place of birth in a hybrid car he built himself – the Lohner-Porsche Mixte. There is a photo of him driving his father and brother around what was then a small town and now has a population of more than 100,000. So beschreibt Tobias Simon Stegmaier seine bisherige Erfahrung bei Porsche. Als Leiter der Arbeitsgruppe Rundstreckenperformance ist es genau diese Einstellung, die seine tägliche Arbeit erst möglich machen. Denn sein #TraumjobPorsche beschäftigt sich hauptsächlich mit der Erzielung der bestmöglichen Performance unserer Fahrzeuge auf Rundstrecken. Zusammen mit den Kolleginnen und Kollegen anderer Entwicklungsbereiche analysiert er daher unsere Fahrzeuge aller Baureihen, ausgenommen GT-Fahrzeuge, und optimiert die letzten Prozente. Das Ziel: Rekorde auf der Nordschleife des Nürburgrings. Privat hat Tobias früher viel Sport gemacht und ist so mit diversen Leistungssportlern in Kontakt gewesen, die bei Weltmeisterschaften teilgenommen haben. "Diese Erfahrung hilft mir bei der täglichen Arbeit mit unseren Profis aus dem Rennsport. Egal ob Werksfahrer oder Entwicklungsfahrer - jeder tickt etwas anders". Sein Résumé nach mittlerweile gut 10 Jahren bei Porsche? "Ich bin dankbar über die tollen Menschen, die ich treffen durfte und mit denen ich tagtäglich arbeiten darf".
