We are beyond proud to announce that the first successful implantation of our EASEE® epilepsy system has taken place at Coimbra University Hospital! 🎯 This milestone is a significant step toward transforming the lives of epilepsy patients, particularly those living with drug-resistant focal epilepsies. Leading the procedure, Dr. Ricardo Pereira shared the profound impact of this development: "By integrating EASEE® into our practice, we are giving epilepsy patients two powerful gifts: renewed hope through an effective treatment and a minimally invasive surgical approach. For many, this technology could mean the start of a new chapter in their lives." This sentiment is echoed by Filipe Pagaimo, our local partner, who has witnessed firsthand how EASEE® is making a difference: "EASEE® brings something truly innovative for patients who have exhausted their options. This minimally invasive device offers real relief, changing the way we approach epilepsy treatment and giving hope to those most in need.
