Together Against Environmental Pollution 🤝 👉 For the fifth time, the companies of Schwarz Gruppe joined forces for a clean-up campaign. Streets, pavements and grass verges in the city and district of Heilbronn were cleared of waste. A total of 65 teams made up of 550 employees came together. They joined forces to put the shared #sustainability strategy into practice. ♻ Since the start of the campaign in 2020, the employees of Lidl International, Kaufland Deutschland, PreZero, Schwarz Digits and Schwarz Corporate Solutions have collected a total of 10.7 tonnes of waste and recyclable materials😮. The majority of these recyclable materials were recycled and returned to the cycle by PreZero Deutschland. 🎉 To celebrate the 5th anniversary, the team that filled the most waste bags was able to donate €5,000 to a charity of their choice. 💚 Thank you for your joint commitment to #environmentalprotection and to many more #cleanup campaigns!

🥇 PreZero’s Headquarter in Heilbronn Earns Gold for #Sustainable Waste Management! ♻️ Great news from EXPO REAL in Munich! Our central office in Heilbronn, in Germany, has been awarded the DIN Spec 91436 Gold Certification, which is the highest recognition for waste and resource management! This means that over 95% of our waste is being reused, recycled, or composted. 🏆 This achievement makes our headquarters the first building within the PreZero Group to receive the Gold level for exceptional #wastemanagement practices. This is certainly a major step on our Road to Zero Waste, but we're not stopping here! There’s more to come – stay tuned!😏

This time, PreZero teamed up with Packaging Cockpit GmbH and Circular Analytics to present #PreZeroSPOT — a free digital platform for #sustainablepackaging optimization. 💻 This digital tool is designed to helps companies increase the level of their packaging’s recyclability, measure environmental impact, comply with new regulations, and cut costs. 💶 Our PreZero experts were also sought-after speakers at the event, sharing latest insights on digital packaging data, packaging innovation and the state of the packaging value change. Hydrogen Meets Waste Logistics ♻ 🚛 PreZero Deutschland has launched a new initiative in the Heilbronn district. To reduce emissions in the waste logistics industry, we have now deployed a hydrogen-powered collection vehicle. Over the coming weeks, this vehicle will be used to collect waste and recyclables, evaluating its effectiveness for everyday operations. 💪 This new truck features a combination of electric propulsion and hydrogen fuel cells. The 27-tonne vehicle is powered by two motors, each generating 40 kW. An 85 kWh battery supplies energy and is continuously recharged by the fuel cell while the vehicle is in motion. 💚 We look forward to gaining valuable insights and feel excited about this huge step toward lower-emission waste logistics.
