Last weekend, Hurricane Helene made landfall in the Southeastern United States, causing devastation at nearly every turn. With entire towns destroyed and a death toll that continues to rise, we often find ourselves seeking strength from the community around us. The impacted region is home to multiple Process Automation Solutions offices and employees. When the hurricane hit, members of our Bessemer, AL and Easley, SC offices answered the call for help. David Kozler, a Systems Integration Technician, was with the team in Easley and said "That morning the storm took out power shortly after arriving. When we were told to go home, we soon realized that all four roads were blocked preventing our exit, leaving us trapped with dozens of other cars and 18-wheelers. We used the 3500 to clear a few of the trees and knocked on doors to borrow gasoline for a chainsaw someone had in their truck. It was an amazing team building experience, working alongside our team in the rain to clear the road. Everyone made it home safely." As recovery efforts continue, members of the PA team have gone above and beyond to help their neighbors in need, including an anonymous employee who has donated over 100lbs of food and emergency supplies to those impacted in Western North Carolina. As you may know, Chiang Rai, Thailand recent floods 🌊 have caused significant devastation in many communities. Families have lost their homes, belongings, and, in some cases, their loved ones. In these challenging times, our collective support can make a tremendous difference. We organized a charity drive to support flood relief efforts, a donation drive from September 20th to 27th. With a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Simone has carved out a distinguished career in business development. She came to PA in February 2023 with an impressive background in automation and other complex technologies and solutions. In short, Simone was a perfect fit then and remains so today. Simone says that the most exciting part of her role at PA is when preparing to contact a new prospect, she prepares and learns about their daily business, challenges and market situation, pains — it needs some time. The real excitement comes when her approach matches and leads to further interest and more discussions. Additionally, Simone describes the PA spirit as "all about pushing boundaries, working together and striving for the best in everything we do. This spirit drives me to keep learning and improving, both in my personal life and in my career."
