Really enjoyed START Global Summit. Thanks to the audience, my co-speaker Paul Becker and the incredible volunteers, who made it all happen. Some of my favourite moments from the conversation: 💡 On Ideation: “I woke up one day with a great idea! No, not really. Ideation is a process.” A reminder that great companies aren’t built on flashes of genius alone, but through deliberate, iterative work. 🔍 On Challenges: “Investors say don’t be too hard on yourself. But my key learning is to look to the inside when things go wrong – it’s usually not an external thing.” As Paul put it, maybe it’s not about being “hard” on yourself, but about taking ownership, also when things don't turn out as expected (that goes for us investors too 😉) 🚀 On Key Turning Points: “Really nailing PMF felt pretty satisfying.” Few things in a founder's journey feel as enthralling as that first verified customer love. 🎯 On Building in Fintech: “Focus narrowly and really prove you offer value before expanding that wedge and investing heavily into GTM.” There's definitely something about turning the tap on at the right time. cc: Project A, re:cap
