We're excited to announce the kick-off of the Resource Sharing Broker (RSB) project, co-developed with Fraunhofer IML and BELog (SCHWENK Deutschland) and supported by Z-SGV, a programme funded by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (Bundesministerium für Digitales und Verkehr). This initiative is set to transform the rail freight industry by enhancing asset utilization and driving greater business success. The new collaborative platform, developed with industry participants, will improve market transparency, enabling the straightforward renting and leasing of locomotives. With RSB, we’re enhancing locomotive utilization by digitalizing the entire rental process, from contract management to operations. Key benefits of the project include: ➡️ Enhanced Reliability: Improves locomotive availability for on-time operations. ➡️ Cost Efficiency: Increases profitability by renting out resources when they are not in use. ➡️ Faster Transactions: Accelerates contract processes and enhances economic efficiency. As we continue to experience significant growth, we are excited to expand our leadership team by welcoming Christian Marcel Hoeke as our new Chief Financial Officer. With this addition, we will also further expand our office location in Hamburg. Marcel brings a robust background in Controlling, Finance and Strategy. After his business studies in St. Gallen and several years in Consulting, Automotive and Banking, Marcel has been CFO & Co-CEO in two startups for the past 4 years. At both OnSite ImmoAgent GmbH and Immozy, he successfully raised capital through funding rounds and public startup grants, built up professional investor relations and led the Finance and HR departments. At Rail-Flow, Marcel will oversee all financial, HR and admin processes. He will lead the comprehensive financial reporting, enhancing strategic decision-making and operational transparency. His role is pivotal in shaping our strategic direction. Apart from being an Excel nerd, Marcel likes to spend his free time with his young son and on his racing bike. Join us in welcoming Marcel. Signals are green for Jessica & Isabel at Rail-Flow! 💚 This month, we're thrilled to introduce two fantastic additions to our Rail-Flowers - Jessica Syroka and Isabel, both will significantly strengthen our team. 🌻 Jessica joins us as a Business Analyst in the Rail Transport Management team, bringing extensive UI/UX & interaction design expertise from her previous positions at leogistics GmbH and myleo / dsc. She will apply her expertise in analyzing, designing, and specifying business logic, processes, and IT requirements for our platform and SaaS products. Jessica's ability to align UI/UX strategies with our overarching goals makes her an ideal addition to our team. Isabel steps into the role of a Working Student in Project Management. She is currently a student at the Universität Vechta, pursuing a Bachelor's in Combined Studies (BACS) with a teaching option, majoring in German Studies and Teaching General Studies with a focus on History. Additionally, Isabel works as a student assistant at the university, where she aids in the area of orientation internships and history-related activities, including tutoring and preparing materials for courses. Starting in October, she will begin her Master's studies. We're delighted to have Jessica and Isabel on board and look forward to the contributions they will make. 🚀
