🌍 Sustainability through innovation: our LCA project The life cycle assessment (LCA) is the key to a holistic evaluation of a product's environmental impact - from raw material extraction to production and disposal. We precisely use this analysis to make our vision “We Drive Sustainable Mobility” become reality. Using the Sphera LCA for Experts software and an automated approach, we integrate data from our ERP system and evaluate the entire life cycle of our products - including emissions along the entire supply chain. A particular focus: the Global Warming Potential (kgCO2eq), an important indicator for greenhouse gas emissions. The aim? To make sustainability measurable, optimize production processes and develop environmentally friendly solutions. ⚽️ Team spirit, fun and goals - our second soccer match between white-collar" and "blue-collar" employees on September 27 was a success!  After the exciting match of our 16 employees and a final score of 6:6, we rounded off the evening with food and refreshing drinks.  A big thank you to all participants and organizers. Chonburi relies on solar energy! 🌞 After just 8 months of construction, the new photovoltaic system at our plant in Chonburi, Thailand, was installed in August - our second solar roof project in Asia! The first is already running successfully in Kunshan, China.   🔋 Powerful and environmentally friendly: - 808 PV modules with 620 watts each generate over 500 kW per hour. - Saving 240 tons of coal and 300 tons of CO₂ per year. - Annual cost savings: over 12,000 euros.   The project was started without own investment! Thanks to our partner WHAUP, the plant will be maintained free of charge for 15 years before it becomes the property of Röchling Automotive Chonburi. #Sustainability #SolarEnergy #Innovation

Forklift alarm! 🚨 We received brand new Still forklifts in Worms, Germany - it's like Christmas and Easter combined! And let's be honest: forklifts lined up like this are a really rare sight. The old forklifts, some of which have already completed up to 24,000 operating hours (a little reminder: a year has around 8,500 hours!), can slowly say goodbye to their well-earned retirement. 😴 🔧 Little joke: What does a forklift truck say when it retires? “I'm not lifting anymore!” #Forklift #Worms #Automotive

Team Röchling rocks the 21st Nibelungenlauf! 🏃♂️ On September 8, our team of 15 motivated runners rocked this year's Nibelungenlauf in Worms, Germany despite the rain and lack of sunshine. We are particularly proud of Andreas Mörz who completed the half marathon - that is truly remarkable! The atmosphere? Simply amazing! Drums, cheers and the great feeling of arriving at the finish line together. Finisher shirts, refreshments and old friends.
