🌟 A Hero Among Us! 🌟 We are incredibly proud to share that our very own colleague and handball player, Björn Dörflinger, recently took a remarkable step to save a life by donating stem cells. Björn's story is an inspiring example, showing how a simple action can make a monumental difference for someone in need. After registering with the German Bone Marrow Donor Center DKMS Deutschland, Björn matched with a patient in need of stem cells. He then underwent a thorough health check and the donation process, giving the gift of life to a person battling a severe illness. The process, though taking several hours, was smooth and handled with care, and Björn's bravery shines through. This is a powerful reminder of how easy it can be to get involved and help save lives. If you're not registered as a stem cell donor yet, consider joining the DKMS or a similar organization in your country. Thorsten is an Inside Sales Manager for the Packaging division of FLUXX® and he also works with our Industrial sector. Together with Marie-Claire Herrmann, he primarily manages and supports our existing customers. 🤝 📊 Before joining SABEU, Thorsten worked in various companies, mainly in the machinery and plant engineering sectors, and has spent most of his career in sales and customer relations. 🌍 When he's not working, Thorsten enjoys hiking, cycling, traveling, and relaxing with a good movie! 🚴♂️🎬 💬 How did Thorsten get to SABEU? Driving past the headquarters, Thorsten noticed our glowing green logo and well-kept facility, and became interested in learning more about us. This led him to our website and learning more and eventually applying for a role with us. It was a natural fit. "The team welcomed me warmly, and even after 18 months, I still feel well-supported and integrated," says Thorsten. 👏 💼 What does he do as Inside Sales Manager? Thorsten handles everything from quotes to ship-ping documents, advocates for the customer, and even manages New Sales for Southeast Asia. 🔍 💡 Thoughts on the future of sales in the digital age? Thorsten sees great opportunities in digital communication tools and AI but emphasizes that personal connections remain irreplaceable. 📱✨ "A conversation, whether in person or over the phone, can be more impactful than 100 emails."
