Dear Network, Do you want to unlock your systems engineering success? Use your team in order to improve your SE. Instead of focussing of writing the right requirements, focus on the information. 💡Define a System Hirarchy - Define your System Hirarchy - It is important to know if your system is a part of a bigger system or direclty interacting with environment and human. You understand your inputs and outputs and also know, that some customer needs cannot be realized without other systems where you do not might be responsible for. Same goes for the lower level (the decomposition of your system to sub-systems) 💡Define your Interfaces - Make sure that internal and external interfaces are fixed and not changing over time. This saves you from big changes and reduces the probability of misunderstanding 💡Define Responsible Roles - Make sure that each system element and interface has a responsible person, making sure that the interfaces, elements and functions are assigned to someone who takes care. 💡Invite for Continuous Exhange - Invite for a continuous exhange in order to make sure that people get the right information as early as possible. It is rather effective having smaller meetings and inform the project members about the decisions which have been taken. How is your systems engineering going?
