This investment will accelerate the development of Easelink's unique 𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘹 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 technology. This patented technology enables fully automated, conductive charging of EVs without manually plugging in a charging cable. Meaning, that as soon as the vehicle is positioned over a charging pad, a connector lowers from the underbody of the car and connects to the pad automatically. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗦𝗣 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱? So last night we rectified that by hosting another of our networking dinners for the local climate and energy community. This event marked the occasion of the final closing of SET Fund IV, with the historic and beautiful venue of the KIT as the location for over 60 members of the Dutch climate ecosystem to connect, share ideas and enjoy a casual evening. Prior to SET, Wassim gained experience in Climatetech investments at two funds. At Partech Impact, he focused on growth-stage, software-driven companies with an environmental and/or social impact. At Bpifrance Green Venture fund, he worked on venture-stage, hardware-focused startups, contributing to the due diligence processes in sectors such as energy, waste management and agriculture. He also gained financial analysis experience through internships at PwC and CFG Bank. Wassim holds an MSc in General Engineering from Centrale Lyon. At Wallbox, Austin played a key role in helping the company scale from 100 to 1,400 employees raise over €100M in funding, acquire four companies and IPO on the NYSE 📈 Previously, he worked at Endeavor, an organisation that supports entrepreneurs around the world by connecting them with investors, mentors and talent. At Endeavor, he managed the team's Smart Cities portfolio, advising companies in the energy, mobility, IOT 4.0, logistics and prop-tech spaces. Austin will bring important operational expertise to our investment decisions. Expertise that helps us to better understand the challenges faced by our portfolio companies as they scale.
