Amazon’s 2024 Shipping Update: European Delays & U.S. Policy Shifts 🚛 During October, big shifts are happening in the Amazon’s freight and shipping processes, that are impacting sellers across Europe and the U.S.  We summed up the most important information down below for you: 🔸 European Freight Delays: Amazon Freight Europe is facing a two-week delay on Full Truckload (FTL) and Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) pickups, putting pressure on logistics planning. Major providers like Kühne und Nagel are also experiencing setbacks, hinting at broader challenges across Europe. 🔸 New U.S. Shipping Standards from China: For packages sent to the U.S., Amazon has capped maximum transit times at 20 days (previously 28). Transit windows are now from 2-4 days up to 14-20 days. What This Means for You?  With these changes, it’s crucial to keep a close eye on inventory, set realistic delivery dates, and have contingency plans in place. We are going into the next round of introducing our fellow colleagues! In this episode of #SPACEGOATSSpotlight we would like to introduce you to Martin Rafael Aldamia: Mabuhay! My name is Martin, 23 years of age, and currently part of the SPACEGOATS family on Amazon Operations since April 2024. I have a bachelor’s degree in Geology and spent months in a mining company as a Mine Geologist Intern with a broad knowledge on rocks and minerals. However, fate decides not to pursue it and tried to come out from my comfort zone. My brother introduced me on remote jobs and found the company I’ve been wanting and prayed for. Working from home is a great opportunity since I was able to spend more time with my family and escaped the traffic congestion in the city. More time on my hobbies such as reading books, watching movies, playing badminton, and learning new skills. I am from the beautiful islands of the Philippines specifically on the City of Davao where I was born and raised. If I were to ask which I prefer between mountains or beaches, I would choose mountains since I love hiking, adventures and nature but I also love beaches to swim. That’s why my travel goals are to visit the best mountain hikes and beaches in Europe. Being part of SPACEGOATS family is a dream job of everyone and was actually my first ever job after I graduated. I can work anywhere I want, I can work while travelling and I can work comfortable at home. The whole team was very supportive of each other, fostering an environment where collaboration and learning thrived. I never regret that I chose a different career path since it opened doors to new possibilities and allowed me to discover strengths I didn’t know I had. Embracing this path has been one of the best decisions I've made, and I'm excited to see where it takes me next.

#SPACEGOATSSpotlight goes into another round, but this time, we will switch to another continent to introduce you to Ireneo Jr. Aldamia: Hi, I'm Ireneo, but you can call me Ren. I'm currently working as the Amazon PPC Specialist at Spacegoats since June 2023. Before this, I worked as a site Civil Engineer, but the pandemic led me to a more amazing and exciting path. I found a remote role that suits my more introverted side. Working from home has given me the chance to focus on things I enjoy—learning new skills, reading books, and sometimes experimenting with abstract painting, blending it with some cool AI-generated art. I'm based in Davao City, Philippines, a country full of beautiful spots, and I plan to explore more someday. For now, I make the most of the nearby beaches, just a quick 30-minute trip from home. 🏖 ☀ Being in SPACEGOATS has been an incredible place to grow. The team is supportive, and even though I was the only Filipino on the team before, I’ve never felt out of place.
