🚀 Startup Creasphere at Swiss Healthcare Startups Digital Health Day 2024! 🚀 We were excited to have Julia Schmidt sharing insights about Startup Creasphere at the recent Swiss Healthcare Startups Digital Health Day in Zürich, where over 300 attendees gathered!  She spoke about our mission to bridge the gap between innovative startups and the healthcare ecosystem, together with Roche. Startup Creasphere collaborates with both early- and late-stage startups, working closely with Swiss companies and customers to tackle some of the most critical challenges in healthcare by co-creating solutions with end-users and customers. Key highlights from her talk: ✨ External innovation with impact: Startups bring unique ideas that complement core solutions and developments in areas such as advancing areas like data analytics, digital biomarkers, disease management, and more. 🤝 Real-world validation: With Roche in the lead, working closely with Startup Creasphere, we ensure new solutions meet the demands of real-world healthcare settings by evaluating, assessing, and co-creating digital solutions with startups generating business opportunities in the healthcare ecosystem. 📊 Proven success in collaboration: Since 2018, Startup Creasphere and Roche have run over 90 pilot projects with a follow-up rate of 50%, leading to co-development, evidence generation, and even co-commercialization opportunities. Real examples of success stories between Roche and the startups in different indications areas, from cardiac care to data usage were also shared. We are thrilled to announce the two promising startups selected by Roche for this journey, ready to shape the future of healthcare: ➡️ Qure.ai – is a health tech company that uses Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to make healthcare more accessible and equitable for patients worldwide. Its solution offers automated interpretation for lung, heart, neuro, and MSK imaging. The pilot project will focus on demonstrating the potential of Qure.ai’s algorithm for specific use cases in APAC. ➡️ Arabesque Technologies – Pioneering AI-powered Raman spectroscopic solutions, combining advanced sample preparation techniques with powerful machine learning algorithms. The pilot project will focus on demonstrating the technical feasibility as well as the strategic fit of the solution. 💡Over the coming months, these startups will work closely with Roche teams to develop proof of concepts and pilot projects in areas like primary screening, AI-driven diagnostics, and spectroscopy-based health solutions. Last week, we celebrated the successful Demo Day of Roche Farma España’s Innovation Challenges Program, highlighting innovative startups and hospital projects in Ophthalmology and Hepatocarcinoma. Kudos to the champions: 👏 Naru Healthcare, Novai, and the Universidad Pública de Navarra for being the winners of this edition of #StartupCreasphere in Spain 🧬 ➡️ Naru Healthcare has been awarded in the #Hepatocarcinoma area for its Step Oncology tool, an #ArtificialIntelligence (AI) that improves the quality of life of #cancer patients. ➡️ Novai (United Kingdom), awarded in the area of #Oftalmology, opens new doors in the diagnosis and treatment of vision diseases thanks to its biomarker. ➡️ In the hospital field, NaIA-DMAE has been awarded, an initiative of the Universidad Pública de Navarra led by José Andonegui Navarro that has developed an #AI that allows eye diseases to be detected with greater precision. ⭐️️ In addition to the winners, three projects that stood out for their potential to improve the lives of #patients were finalists. In the area of Ophthalmology deepeye Medical (Germany) and Naveta project from FARUPEIB by Gabriel Mercadal Orfila (Spain), and in the area of hepatocarcinoma, Higia (Spain).
