The European Commission has published an article about SUBLIME. This publication on Cordis underlines again the importance of the research that we have accomplished from the perspective of the European Citizen. From a technical perspective we are always looking at those small tedious steps to bring innovation forward. But beyond that we have to sit down and look at the big picture. SUBLIME held its 10th General Assembly – Final Meeting 🗓👨🔬👩🔬From the 14th to 15th of October 2024, the 10th General Assembly Meeting of the SUBLIME project was held in Bordeaux (France🇫🇷) under the patronage of Saft. At this tenth hybrid meeting, the work package leaders discuss the final status of the remaining ongoing tasks. Promising approaches for addressing the scientific challenges of solid-state batteries with sulfide-based solid electrolytes were discussed and strategies on how to continue after closing of the project were set up. In this work, different PFAS_free binders (PIB, SBS, NBR and HNBR) for NCM811 cathodes were evaluated and compared to conventional PVdF-based cathodes. A thorough assessment of their physical and chemical properties, electrochemical performance and production costs was conducted.
