A Big Step Forward - Grand Opening 1st Floor 🎉 After about a year of planning, yesterday was finally the big day: The opening of our new Social-Meeting Hub and production areas! The journey to get here has been full of ideas, creativity, and collaboration – and now we can proudly look at the result. It’s been a busy time full of planning, adjustments, and progress, with the support of many amazing people. Thank you to everyone who walked this path with us! Our new production spaces are a real milestone, providing room for us to assemble, test, and ship our products with the highest quality. To us, it's not just a space – it’s a symbol of our growth and future. And our Social and Meeting Hub? It’s much more than just a place for lunch breaks – we’ve created a space that brings people together. It’s a place where exchange, creativity, and teamwork are at the heart of everything. A place where you meet, feel comfortable, and get inspired! This space is not just for us but for all those who want to be part of this journey in the years to come – to grow together and achieve great things!  To our new spaces, to a wonderful time here, to us, and to Swabian! The participation of Swabian Instruments in our workshop was a key element of our collaboration with QubitHUB, demonstrating the power of cutting-edge instrumentation in advancing quantum technologies. Their involvement played a crucial role in enhancing the learning experience and fostering deeper engagement with the field. Mireia Perera González showcased the Time Tagger's versatility and impact on precision quantum measurement, while Mirco Kolarczik explored its physics and data acquisition applications. Their presentations, streamed to leading Mexican research institutions, significantly strengthened the regional quantum ecosystem. As this collaboration comes to a close, we extend our deepest gratitude to Swabian Instruments for their invaluable contributions. While this partnership has concluded, the knowledge shared, and the impact made will continue to resonate in our growing quantum community. Every second Thursday of the month, we host the "Swabian Academy" for our employees. This initiative features two-hour seminars on a variety of topics, led either by colleagues or external experts. The themes are flexible and based on the interests of our team – anyone can step up and present on a subject they are passionate about or an area of expertise they want to share. Yesterday's session was all about "Designing a PCB in Altium," led by one of our talented hardware developers. Congratulations to the teams from the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) on their recent publication, which advances quasi-photon-number resolution approaches for quantum optical technologies! Their innovative work on a quasi-photon-number-resolving detector (qPNRD) combines a fiber demultiplexer with individual detectors to offer a practical solution for real-world quantum applications. They combined principles of quantum tomography and Bayesian analysis to better understand influences in photon probability distributions, benefiting from the Time Tagger Ultra’s powerful hardware & intuitive built-in functions. We’re proud that Time Tagger supported this remarkable research milestone.
