Swire Renewable Energy is providing ongoing blade services and support to Nordex Group Australia at Mortlake and McIntyre, the largest operating onshore wind farm in the country. Our work in these projects initiated in 2024, involving both groundwork activities and uptower repairs at heights reaching 165m. With safety as a core value, our commitment was recently recognised by Nordex, who commended Swire technicians for their exceptional participation in a "psychology of safety" session, as well as for their leadership and professionalism in maintaining a safety-first mindset every day. Ryan Smith, CEO of Swire Renewable Energy, stated, “These projects highlight SRE's dedication to delivering top-tier blade services in Australia, building on the acquisition of Altitec Blade Services in 2024. Health, safety, and quality are fundamental to our business as we expand our service offering into Australia.”

Swire Renewable Energy is honored to be recognised by Siemens Gamesa with a Safety Award during the recent Contractor Safety Day. SRE was recognised with a 'Best Safety Learning Experience' award which originated from the proactive efforts by one of our technicians, who advocated for better reporting of mental health concerns. These efforts led to the implementation of an anonymous system for employees to raise concerns when they see signs of stress. The system has now been adopted across other projects - demonstrating the real impact that small actions can have. At Swire Renewable Energy, health and safety is more than just procedure, its fundamentally about people. Ryan Smith, CEO of Swire Renewable Energy, commented, "I would like to thank Siemens Gamesa for recognising Swire Renewable Energy’s efforts among the 36 strategic suppliers present. We are very proud of our technicians for fostering a culture that values both physical and mental well-being."

Swire Renewable Energy is pleased to share its 2024 Health and Safety results. We have once again exceeded our targets and significantly strengthened our HSE culture. Safety observations increased 516% compared to 2023 (and an impressive 8700% compared to 2022). Importantly, the company experienced a 63% increase in total manhours, however we maintained zero lost time injuries and our TRIF rate, at 2.95 per million hours – remains below the industry average. Throughout 2024, we upheld our commitment to our seven safety non-negotiables, including empowering our technicians and staff to use the Stop Work Authority. The SWA empowers every team member to stop any activity they believe to be unsafe. Ryan Smith, CEO of Swire Renewable Energy, commented: "We are very encouraged with the ongoing improvements in our HSE results and the strengthening of our HSE culture. Keeping all our teams safe is our first priority…"
