teamtechnik was honored with the WINNER Award from the Allianz Industrie 4.0 Baden-Württemberg network for its “outstanding individual solutions” for digitalization. With its digital twin technology, teamtechnik enables machines and production systems to be virtually commissioned during the engineering process. As a result, assembly and test processes can be tested and optimized before installation. For a virtual twin, the CAD model of a machine and its components are prepared in a simulation tool and completed with physical motion. Next, the simulation model is paired with control software. The necessary adjustments and extensions of the Siemens NX MCD software are carried out in close collaboration with the consultants at the d.u.h.Group. The technology company from Bielefeld is an authorized solution partner of Siemens Digital Industries Software GmbH. #autmation #digitaltwin

teamtechnik in Freiberg opened its doors to young explorers. The nationwide "Türen auf mit der Maus" (Doors Open with The Mouse) activity day took place on October 3rd. "Die Sendung mit der Maus", is a German children's television series, popular nationwide for its educational content. 50 "Mouse fans" from in and around the city of Freiberg were invited to come and find out which components are needed to make an electric car move. After touring the production halls, the children got the chance to do something practical. Under the supervision of our apprentices, they were given hands-on experience in our spacious training workshop. Working together, they built a windmill and discovered how the generator that is used to generate electricity can also function as a motor and that the windmill also turns when it is connected to a battery. A special highlight of the visit came right at the end of the day, with a ride across the company site in an electric car. This practical approach really helped to communicate complex technical relationships in an easily understood way and spark an interest in the technologies of the future. #TürenAuf #sendungmitermaus #wdr
