🚀 Exciting news yet again from thyssenkrupp Polysius Asia Pacific! In September, thyssenkrupp Polysius Asia Pacific signed a contract with Siam Cement Group (SCG) in Bangkok for their cement plant located in Indonesia. The contract covers the supply of a semi-mobile primary double roller crusher and a semi-mobile secondary double roller crusher, along with an apron feeder and related conveyors, to replace the existing limestone crushing plant. This replacement is essential as the current crusher is not suited for the physical properties of the material at the client’s quarry. From the Office to the Outdoors: Atlanta Team Cleans Up the Neighborhood Trail 🌱 Last week, our thyssenkrupp Polysius Atlanta team took a break from the office to give back to their beautiful neighborhood. #TheFieldServiceTeam comes to the rescue 🦸♂️ In March this year, our Field Service experts helped a German customer with a kiln emergency. The kiln had to be shut down due to a broken roller. Our team quickly replaced the roller and the kiln was up and running again. The subsequent polscan measurement revealed the kiln's axial deviation and the rollers' displacement, allowing our experts to bring the kiln back into the correct position. 🏭 👉 Do you have any questions about our polscan service? US cement producer orders studded roller units 🙌 The US customer placed an order with us to supply two roll units with our studded roller technology for their polycom®. The scope includes the roll shaft, roll body with hard metal studs, bearing blocks, self-aligning roller bearing, bearing seals, shaft cooling system, intermediate flange, and transport device, which will be delivered in the second half of 2025. 💪 Despite the customer's rigorous maintenance routine, which included weekly re-welding of the roller surfaces, they were experiencing wear that reduced the overall surface area of the roller body and production efficiency. Our studded roller technology offers a compelling solution to these challenges as it eliminates the need for re-welding. thyssenkrupp Polysius and TITAN Cement Group sign engineering contract for Europe’s largest decarbonization project ✍ thyssenkrupp Polysius and TITAN Group signed a Front-End Engineering Design contract for the IFESTOS carbon capture project in Athens, Greece. IFESTOS is the largest carbon capture and storage project in Europe, enabling the production of carbon-free cement concrete. A key element of the project is the equipment of two kiln lines at the Kamari cement plant with oxyfuel CO2 capture systems from thyssenkrupp Polysius. Thanks to this technology, the plant’s CO2 emissions will be almost completely eliminated when it goes into operation at the end of 2029. 🌱 💬 Christian Myland, CEO at thyssenkrupp Polysius, who attended the ceremony alongside Dr. Cetin Nazikkol, Chief Strategy Officer thyssenkrupp Decarbon Technologies, Marcel Cobuz, CEO TITAN Group, and Samir Cairae, Chief Technology Officer TITAN Group, says: “For our customer TITAN Group, we will be using the latest CO2 separation technology. We will equip the first kiln line with the proven oxyfuel technology. When modernizing the second kiln line, the latest generation of this technology will be used with the pure oxyfuel system.
