Democracy is not a gift. We must actively work to uphold it. The RAA - Demokratie und Bildung Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e. V. promotes #equity, #diversity, and #humanrights to the next generation in #MV, teaching them about the benefits of our democratic system. Educational exchanges and community-building programs are vital for fostering mutual understanding. Thank you Marieke Schürgut for taking the time to tell CDA Meltzer and CG Chue about your programs and discuss future collaborations. #democracy US-Botschaft

To celebrate the 33rd Hanse Sail in Rostock, Eva-Maria Kröger invited Chargé d’Affaires Meltzer from the US-Botschaft to sign the city’s golden book. The largest maritime event in Europe strengthens the solidarity of the Baltic states in the face of Russian aggression. This year's partner country is Finland, a powerful new #NATO ally. The United States aims to demonstrate the benefits of our transatlantic partnership to everyone in #Rostock and #MV through such dialogues and exchanges. Thank you to the City of Rostock for the invitation!
