This afternoon, a U.S. Air Force B-52H Stratofortress conducted a low-pass over Oslo, Norway, alongside two F-35 Lightning IIs from the Royal Norwegian Air Force, Forsvaret - Norwegian Armed Forces.   “The strength and significance of our partnership with Norway is vital to peace and security in the Arctic region,” said U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Kendall “Spartan” Smith, Bomber Task Force chief for U.S. Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa. “This flyover is an example of the unwavering bond between our nations, built on mutual respect and shared values.”    Bomber Task Force missions provide critical opportunities to integrate and train with regional partners.    “The U.S. is our largest and most important ally, which is why it is important for us that they come here and train,” said Norwegian Defense Minister Tore O.
