💡 Highlights from the ARRtist Summit We had an incredible time at the ARRtist summit in Berlin last week, where we discussed everything from scaling SaaS businesses to optimizing pricing strategies. One of the standout sessions was the deep dive into "The Truth About German SaaS Pricing – Insights from ARRtist & Valueships Pricing Report" – super interesting data on how SaaS companies can improve their pricing models. 📊 Of course, the event wasn’t just about pricing, it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with so many inspiring fellow SaaS professionals. A big thank you to Julius Göllner for the invitation! 🙌 It was a pleasure to chat with amazing people from the community like, amongst many others, Marco Feelisch, Vincent Hommel, Patrick Kohler, Michael Breiter, Rafael Weißmüller, and Jaroslav Ton. Looking forward to taking VENMATE to more events and meeting even more people from the community! Leopold zu Schleswig-Holstein

🚩 Stop relying on NPS for your CS Team. #NPS is a great business benchmark but too broad for #CustomerSuccess. It can be swayed by product changes, pricing, or one-off experiences, and doesn’t reflect what your CS team directly influences. It only reflects a snapshot of your CSMs’ performance. And then, NPS is not even correlated to #retention! So what metrics should you track? Focus on: 💡Product Adoption: How are customers using your product? 💡Measurable Outcomes: Are they achieving their goals? 💡NRR: Is your team growing and retaining accounts? At #VENMATE, we help you track these with a customizable #HealthScore that combines Product Usage, Customer View, and the CS manager's insights. Reach out if you want to discuss or learn more! Why customer success is a profit-center (not just a cost)💡 What many founders overlook: Customer Success is more than just a support function. It’s actually one of the biggest #growth drivers for your business. But too often, it’s seen as a cost-center when it should really be viewed as a profit-center. Here’s why: 👉 Customer success managers drive growth: CSMs don’t just keep customers happy—they find opportunities to #upsell, cross-sell, and increase the value of each customer relationship. This means more revenue, without additional acquisition costs. 👉 Reducing churn means more revenue: Churn hurts your bottom line. When CSMs proactively reduce churn, they’re saving money and protecting future revenue. each customer retained is revenue you don’t have to replace. 👉 Turning customers into advocates: Loyal customers who feel supported are your best brand ambassadors. CSMs help build those relationships, turning customers into advocates who bring in referrals and new business. 👉 It’s an investment, not a cost: Viewing customer success as a cost misses the mark. investing in a great cs team leads to long-term profitability. By focusing on delivering value, CSMs help grow the business in ways that #marketing and #sales alone can’t achieve. If you’re a founder and have recognized this - kudos to you! If you haven’t, it’s about time to look into it — it will enable you in driving sustainable growth. #CustomerSuccess #Growth #ChurnReduction #SaaS #CSM #Profitability #Retention
