🏃♂️The B2Run 2024 was a great success! 🏃♂️ Under the motto "active together", our viastore employees took part in this fantastic event. With a lot of team spirit and a great atmosphere, they mastered the 5 kilometres around the Neckarpark and crossed the finish line at the MHPArena. It wasn't about the times, it was about the experience and the mutual support. A big thank you to our 35 participants - you were the #bestteamever - and to everyone who filled our team stand with life. The after show party was the perfect end to an unforgettable day! 🎉 We are already looking forward to next year! What do intralogistics experts dream about? 💭 "Here I am, standing in the middle of a state-of-the-art system that I have just designed in 3D. I'm moving through the digital conveyor lines and storage rows, simulating and testing the function of individual components and the overall interaction, and conducting training sessions in this virtual environment. Everything is perfectly coordinated, then the system is put into virtual operation before a single screw is tightened in the real world. The service department then has a comprehensive view of the entire system and can perform analyses for predictive maintenance and system optimization, and immediately keep an eye on any failures. All with one tool, all integrated, all seamless.” But... ... what is the reality? We have long been designing the systems in 3D, the customer can familiarize himself with everything via VR, walk and fly through his systems, we use the digital twin to simulate performance, put the systems into operation and viavision ensures unlimited transparency during operation. These are all important tools that add a lot of value. What can AI do today? It relieves us of reproducible processes and helps us to check everything for logic and consistency.
