Can a Twitch stream change lives? Let’s find out! 🚨 This afternoon, our MESH Collective team is hosting a special fundraising livestream on Twitch for Straßenkinder e.V., a Berlin-based charity that helps street kids get back on their feet. With JAM FM, betterplace.org, and an incredible squad of streamers – freiraumreh (Kim-Noemi Adam), ronnyberger (Ronny Berger), Sterzik, FiNessi, Razzortainment – we’re going all-in to raise funds for the construction of Haus "Butze", a shelter and support center for homeless youth, set to open in 2025. 🙏 Our MESH Collective team is managing the entire concept, editorial, setup, and production. Expect games, challenges, and powerful stories from former street kids and social workers, as we aim for a five-figure donation goal! The entire event is being organized pro bono, so every cent raised will go directly to supporting these kids. And the award goes to... 🥁 Yesterday, our ERA talent Fabian Grischkat was honored with the 2024 Marketing For Future Award – Germany's first award for sustainable marketing and communication. 🏆💚 Fabian succeeded in the “Sustainable Creator” category, which is awarded in collaboration with klima&so, for his collaborative research together with Greenpeace Deutschland. With the award (which - fun fact - is designed like a Lucky Cat 😻) that is part of the BAM! Bock auf Morgen festival in Berlin, he was recognized as a pioneer who inspires sustainable thinking and action with his social media activities. David is a real enthusiast when it comes to movies and vinyl, and he shared some insights into that with us below. 💬 David, what do you love most about your current role at ERA?  🙋♂️ What I love most is seeing profiles grow and reach the goals we set up together. I have a front-row seat to all the new trends and how we are growing TV views across the network. My colleagues are also an important part, I’m always looking forward to seeing them when I get to work. 💬 What is your favourite movie? 🙋♂️ The best movie is “Coffee and Cigarettes” by Jim Jarmusch. Why? I mean, look at the cast! These two ERA quiz champions raised €5,500 for the good cause! 💰❤️ In a record-breaking 16-hour live TV quiz show – ZDF’s "Quizchampion" – our talents Fabian Grischkat and Tara Wittwer made a significant charitable impact. In a competitive field of celebrities, Fabian and Tara won €4,500 for charity and added an extra €1,000 from their own funds, totaling a generous €5,500. What does a 1,500 km bike ride have to do with LGBTQAI+ visibility? 🤯🤷 Our ERA talent Brix Schaumburg is back for the third year in a row with Germany's longest pride, "Que(e)r durchs Land" – setting out to raise visibility for the queer community and stand for greater diversity and inclusion. 🌈 Joined by activist and content creator Robin Scheerbaum, they are stopping in 16 cities, creating spaces for open dialogue and connection along the way. Their mission? To build safe spaces, foster understanding, and raise funds for queer workplace equality. This year, all donations will support the PROUT AT WORK-Foundation, helping ensure queer individuals thrive in the workplace.
