In 2023, a student in Ludwigsburg won the European Pumpkin Championships with his pumpkin weighing 1041.5 kg. 😳 You could make several thousand portions of pumpkin soup with it (according to our calculations, approx. 8,330 portions - since we have deducted the skin and seeds). However, since neither we nor probably most of you have a pot for this amount of pumpkin at home, we have a household-sized recipe for our cidaas pumpkin soup. 🥣 No matter what your plans are, with this soup you'll be on the right side in terms of both theme and taste! What do Diwali and Halloween have in common? 🤔 They fall on the same day this year! Diwali, the festival of lights, celebrates the victory of good over evil. People light candles, exchange small gifts and celebrate the day with fireworks. We also burn lights on Halloween, only the candles are often in pumpkins with scary faces and children run from house to house dressed up in scary costumes asking for sweet or sour treats. We, the Widas Group, celebrate both festivities with their own charm. While our colleagues in India enjoy the Diwali celebrations, in Germany some colleagues go out onto the streets with their dressed-up children looking for sweet treats.
