#FlashbackFriday to the Sales Conference held at our headquarters in Germany at the end of February. In true "Schmutziger Donnerstag" tradition, we kicked off the event with a festive touch—humorously cutting off the men’s ties! A lighthearted start to two intense days filled with professional insights and networking. The conference brought together teams from various parts of the Sales Unit Germany, including Sales Drives, Sales South and North, Technical Sales, and Business Excellence. Bei ZIEHL-ABEGG treiben wir gemeinsam mit unserem langjährigen Partner Toyota Material Handling Deutschland die Automatisierung in unserer internen Logistik voran und optimieren unsere Warenflüsse. Im EC-Werk in Kupferzell übernehmen autonome Elektro-Hochhubwagen den Transport von Eigenfertigungsteilen und versandfertigen Waren. Die automatisierten Flurförderzeuge stapeln bis zu drei Paletten mit einem Gesamtgewicht bis zu 1,6 Tonnen und erreichen Hubhöhen von bis zu 4,7 Metern. Mit Lithium-Ionen-Batterien, Laser-Navigation und Sicherheits-Scannern ausgestattet, reduzieren sie Energiekosten, senken CO₂-Emissionen und ermöglichen eine sichere Zusammenarbeit von Mensch und Maschine. Außerdem entlasten die fahrerlosen Transportsysteme unsere Mitarbeitenden, indem sie monotone Transportaufgaben übernehmen. Dadurch können sich unsere Kolleg*innen auf komplexere Tätigkeiten mit höherer Wertschöpfung konzentrieren. Auch in der Elektronikfertigung in Künzelsau automatisieren wir den Materialfluss über mehrere Etagen, wodurch manuelle Fahrten um 95% reduziert werden. Das spart Arbeitszeit und erhöht gleichzeitig die Prozesssicherheit. Wir werden weiterhin in die Optimierung unserer Prozesse investieren und freuen uns, mit Toyota Material Handling einen starken Partner an unserer Seite zu haben. #digitaletransformation #logistik #automatisierung

The APAC ZEPHYR 2030 Workshop in Bangkok brought our sales, operations, and corporate strategy leaders together for an intensive four-day event under the theme "One Team One Mission." The objective was to align on strategies that will further drive turnover, strengthen our market position, and better support our customers. This was achieved by bringing together cross-functional teams to develop and drive strategic key initiatives for the APAC region. The team reviewed the 2024 performance, analyzed macroeconomic trends, and identified key opportunities and challenges of the APAC market.
